High intensity bullet - bullet vibrator by Cal Exotics - review by TheCleansing

Let's start with basics. The California Exotics High Intensity Bullet is well... a bullet. It's intended to be a clitoral toy, but it can also be used to tease the vagina (just don't use it for serious insertion as it's pretty small as compared to a traditional vibrator with not a whole lot of grip). The vibrations as far as I know are pretty damn strong as vibrations go. This is probably due to (what I'm sure is) the root of all evil: the N battery.

As a bullet this is great for foreplay before intercourse. It's also great if you're alone and lonely and want some buzzing to get things going. It can finish the job too, if nothing else is around. So in short this toy is great for couples but if you're one person and you want to tickle your erogenous zones (nipples, clit, even testicles if you want) this is a great bullet. I find that a toy of variable intensity such as this one is great for foreplay as well as an additional stimulus during intercourse.

The vibrator casing is made of a plastic, which is a different plastic depending on the color you choose (odd, huh?). The watermelon pink and green one is a velvety soft plastic that is nice to the touch. The surface is lovely on skin. I'm rolling with the white one here and it's a smoother and shinier plastic. My girlfriend and I don't like this one as much. It was odorless when it came out of the box and it's odorless during operation (no burning smell, no Chanel No. 5 either). The texture doesn't add any extra stimulation but I'm sure the velvety soft material on the watermelon bullet does. The texture is for beginners because there's no learning curve to it. It's just plastic!

This is pretty large for a bullet. It stands at about 3.5 inches long (or almost 9 centimeters) and is approximately 1.5 inches around (circumference). The design works well. It's a very simple slimline bullet (similar form factor to the RO-120, which I'll link). There's nothing fancy (no bat shape , no flare, no cute little We-Vibe Tango tip). The size is great for a bullet because it's super portable in that sense (as long as it doesn't turn on in your purse, that's an afternoon no one wants to have). This toy is great for beginners because it's super simple. No fancy charging controls, no USB support, no Rubiks Cube you have to put together before you can achieve orgasm. It's very easy to hide because of its size. Just stash it in a drawer or something. It's pretty obvious that it's a sex toy upon first glance. The packaging doesn't help its case at all.

This toy has a very basic ramp-up in terms of performance. Here is the intensity cycle.

1 - 2 - 3 - OFF

1. Sort of a basic low dull vibration.
2. Stronger and faster.
3. The strongest vibration this bullet can offer and it's pretty damn strong as bullets go.
OFF. Zero vibrations. Boring really.

The vibrations come from near the tip of the vibrator, which is good. All three vibration intensities are great because you can start off teasing with a weak 1-setting and finish off with the third setting. It's waterproof and very splashproof. Just make sure the vibrator is tightened around its seal for maximum effect.

I'd rate this toy at pretty noisy as bullets go. I'm used to whisper quiet bullets (the SinFive Eve, Armor Piercing Speeding Bullet, etc) so compared to those this is a step up in loudness. Still not deafening and you can still get a good one in with someone in the other room, likely.

This thing doesn't exactly eat its N batteries, and that's a good thing. We managed to get maybe 4-5 hours of normal use from each battery, which isn't bad. It did come with an extra N-battery, which is helpful.

Care is pretty simple. Just wipe it down with soap and water. Eden toy wipes or toy wipes of any type are aos great. It's a very low maintenance toy as far as I'm concerned.

It's pretty easy to store too. Anywhere cool and dry will suffice. Because it's plastic any lubes will really work with it. Just don't leave it out in the open for your friends to discover. Unless you like that sort of thing.

It came in this little plastic clamshell thing. Definitely not discreet. It can't really be used for anything because it's a clamshell. The back has some basic literature although for a toy like this instructions aren't particularly necessary. I've included a shot of the packaging. I would not use the packaging as a gift. Nope.

We had a lot of fun with this toy but prefer the Armor Piercing Speeding Bullet over it.
