Somewhat disappointing for the $$$The product is disappointing for the price point because the materials and construction are very cheap. I like the strength of the motor and the sleek design, but overall I would not buy this item again.
Small, Strong, Ergonomic
Loud, Expensive, One Function
The Isis is strictly a finger vibe. It can be used with (I recommend with) or without one of the three included finger clips. The clips come in three different sizes: S, M, L. I have fairly small hands and use the M clip so I'm pretty sure the clips will work for a wide variety of finger sizes. The Isis is pretty small and not made for any type of insertion but is great for clitoral or nipple stimulation. It has a smooth material (read more in that section) that feels really good with some lube. It only has one setting (on/off) and is rechargeable, which I find to be a plus. But this vibe requires a 12 hour charge after every use to maintain the battery/motor. The battery life is only 2-3 hours. (For comparison, my Sasi will last a month on one 6 hour charge). I bought this as my second finger vibe. I was really excited, until it came. It is pretty loud for how small it is. I have roommates and would not use this while they're home because it is too loud. I often use my shower time for fun, but the Isis is not waterproof. I'm a single lady but I really think for couples this could be good for some hot foreplay. Also you can read my issues with the materials/construction in that section. It has a great motor (80Hz) and is a good vibrator, but I really do not think it was worth the money. A simple bullet vibe could do the same for me. I did however enjoy the information in the manual on the four phases of a woman's sexual response.
The Isis by Emotional Bliss is made of plastic and an antibacterial rubber. The exact materials aren't listed on the box or in the reading material. It does not have any sort of off putting plastic odor to it though. The stimulating part of the Isis is a fairly soft rubber with 3 ribs. Along the top is the companies logo raised into the rubber. The back end of the Isis is a white plastic with a mushroom shaped nipple (as the manual describes) for attaching one of three different finger clips. The clips too are made of plastic. Overall the materials are nice quality, but perhaps the manufacturing isn't so grand because this is where my problem with my Isis first began. The edges of the plastic are not smooth; one of the edges on mine is quite sharp. The seam where the rubber end and the plastic end merge is not very well closed on mine and the edge actually had a piece of plastic that should have been filed off. It came off easily with my fingernail, but for a $40 finger vibe, I was expecting more. Also the on/off button seems really cheap. Mine shifts around under the rubber, and the rubber is slightly ripped around the edge of the power button.
The design is attractive. The designer writes that she designs toys for women who are looking for attractive toys that don't look penile. I, although straight, do not like realistic penile toys and find the new lines of high end, sleek vibrators very fun. I like the entire line of Emotional Bliss toys. They are very attractive. The Isis is light green and white. The surface is smooth with three ribs and a removable finger clip. The clip is functional but not very attractive.
The Isis only has one function controlled by an on/off switch. The control is located on the back of the massager and requires taking your finger out of the clip to control. The toy is not waterproof. The Isis is very powerful but requires charging after every use. The charging takes 12 hours.
The Isis is easily cleaned with toy cleaner or wipes after each use. The Isis does require charging routinely after every use. The charging is a long process and if not done can cause the motor or battery to malfunction. The amount of recharging required seems like a downfall.
The box includes the Isis, 3 finger clips, a wall charger, and the brochure. The box is small and discreetly decorated with flowers and a picture of the Isis.
This is a good strong finger vibe. The finger clips make it easy to use and add to the fun. The sharp edges of the plastic make me a bit leery to get too into my experience. If I turn it too quickly, will a sharp edge rub me wrong? I want to be lost in the moment, not worried about injury. This makes it a little harder to use and enjoy for me.
