Her lid is held in place with two metallic roller clips. They're hard to describe but very easy to unclip, and they assure a secure storage. There is a plastic case in the box that is molded to High Roller for presentation and to keep her in place--you may dispose of this after purchasing. I find it useful to prop her in this case after drying from a hard night's work.
