Super flower power - vibrator by Big Teaze Toys - review by Mamastoys

I was eager to await the arrival of the Super flower power Discreet massager by Big Tease Toys when I saw that it was the next item for my review. When it arrived, the packaging was so cute. It arrived in a box that looked like a flower garden with the flower (vibrator) coming up through the dirt. The miniature version (the keychain) was also packaged neatly. When I removed both of them from the box, the petals came loose on the larger one. I figured it was just the way it was shipped and thought no more about it. I proceeded to put the batteries in and replace the petals. The control was a little ladybug on the handle. Turning it on, it began a soft hum. Pressing the ladybug changed the functions, and I proceeded to go through all eight. Several of these were different from other vibrators I had used.

The time arrived to try out the flower for real. As soon as my husband turned it on, the petals come off again. Several attempts to get them to stay in place failed, and they were quickly laid to the side. The center of the flower was where all the vibrations were, but the pedals were an addition (or so we thought). The vibrations were fairly strong, but I never got off using this vibrator. The description said that the pedals were removable but I had thought (and hoped) that they wouldn't remove themselves at their choice of times. The longer we used the flower, the louder the battery encasing got. It was like the batteries were vibrating off the sides. No amount of readjusting or trying to tighten the cover helped. This was definite distraction. Also, the least amount of pressure on the ladybug would change the setting, going through all 8 and then turning it off without any help from us. After several attempts to adjust it to keep all parts together, and to keep it quiet, we laid it aside. It was just too distracting to be effective.

The keychain only has one setting but the pedals kept coming off it too. It is cute and I will probably carry it around with me, just for the thought of what it really is. I don't see myself using it at any point in time.

Overall, I was very disappointed with this product. The description stated it was back and improved. If this is true, I'm glad I didn't purchase the first version. I thought the $38.00 could be spent on something more useful and functional than this product.
