Sweet Kisses from My Kissa...
The glass makes it very easy to keep clean, and it has a lot of great texture like swirled ribbing and a nubbed head. The vibrations aren't that great unless you have a very good battery in it, and the noise level is somewhat loud for the small amount of vibrations that are received from the toy.Published: March 20, 2011

The Kissa is a great toy. I love the texture of it, even though, at first, the head of the vibrator was a little too big for me, especially with the nubs on it. I do, however, love the fact that it is a glass vibrator that is also waterproof. This makes it extremely easy to keep clean, with the exception of having to pay a little extra attention to the ribbing and nubs to make sure that you get everything off. I generally use a mild soap and hot water to clean it, and if I plan on leaving it in its little pouch for any length of time, then I will spray both it and the inside of the pouch with rubbing alcohol to kill any germs and bacteria that might be living in there. The packaging for the toy was a little disappointing though, since all it came in was a clear plastic baggy with a cardboard piece holding it closed. Of course it did come with its own little black drawstring baggy to keep it stored in. This little bag is also padded to some degree, so it does protect the glass from chipping. This doesn't mean that you shouldn't check it before each use for cracks and/or chips in the glass.
The first time that I had the toy touch my body, I thought that it was very cold and wasn't sure how well that was going to work for me. But after a while (actually not too long at all), the glass started warming up a lot. The vibrations on this toy could stand to be a bit stronger, especially for the noise level. But when you put new batteries in it, it works pretty well. As for turning it on and changing the vibration speed, it is all conveniently done with a button on the end of the toy. This button is a blessing and a curse since it is easily pressed while it's inside of you.
Just about any type of lube will work on this toy since it is a glass vibrator. This makes it great for those who don't want to have to switch up lubes just to use a certain toy. I don't, however, recommend it for beginners due to the size of the head of the vibrator.

This is still a great toy! Love it and use it more than most of my other toys in my toy box!

This is my first toy, let alone glass toy. What are the advantages and disadvantages of other materials? Did I pick a weird starting place? I do like it, but it didn't rock my world so to speak.

I have that toy, and it's actually good quality. If you like glass toys, then it's a really nice one. The end has textured nubs that are definitely felt. For me it was too much texture, but some people might enjoy that. I think it's a really nice toy.

@tigerkate I didn't have a problem with that when I noticed it. I just used my hand and rubbed with the flow of the swirling ridge, and as for the bumps, I had less problems witht hem than with the ridges. Of course it took a little work to get it completely clean
