Doriane is bested suited for vaginal insertion and temperature play. She is sleek and smooth which make her great for thrusting as long as you don't get carried away because ceramic has no give to it at all and thrusting to vigorously could injure you. Considering that its design is pretty basic and the toy is a pretty average size this could work for beginners or more advanced users. This would be a great starting point for someone who wanted to try ceramic out. It isn't intended for anal use and since there is no handle or flared base I would keep this one out of the backyard. This could be used alone or with a partner, but if you do use it with a parener make sure they know to be gentle considering that it is a firm unpliable material.

The ceramic is smooth and sleek. It is a food-grade material, hypo-allergenic, latex free, non-porous, and phthalate free. Doriane is non-porus, taste and odor free. The ceramic offers no give at all so beginners will want to remember that when considering this toy. There are two slightly bulged, curvy lines on the top, one need the head of the toy and the other ends around the center. These can be felt very subtly during insertion. I did expect the ceramic to have more heft to it like my glass toys but was surprised taht it didn't end up being as hefty.

The design of Lovemoiselle's Doriane is very simple, her shape and size would work for beginners or more advanced users. There is a lovely light blue single flower design on the front of the head of the toy. Doriane is: 7 3/4" in length, 6 1/4" insertable length, 4 1/2" in circumference, and 1 3/8" in diameter. The ceramic portion of the toy is a hollow sleeve that the vibration is securely housed in. It has two curvy lines on the top, one on the head of the toy and the other extends down to about the center of the toy. The smooth shaft tappers in slightly at the center of the toy and back out towards the base. The shape of Doriane makes her great for thrusting. Inside the bottom of the ceramic sleeve the control portion where the one control button is protrudes out just enough to get ahold of. This part twists on and off easily so you can access the battery compartment and features rubber o-ring on the inside. She won't take up a lot of room so you could put her in a handbag to take along if you wanted. If you choose to take her along you while want to make sure she doesn't get bumped around while on the go.

Doriane features 6 vibrating modes that are easily controlled by one push button on the base of the toy. The first two settings are a low and a medium vibration followed by 4 different pattern settings. To turn Doriane off you hold the button down for one second. This toy isn't overly loud, it could be heard through covers but nobody would be able to hear it through a closed door. The vibrations are located in the head of the toy but travel uniformly through the whole ceramic portion of the toy. The vibrations are moderate and provide more subtle sensations. It doesn't state anywhere that Doriane is waterproof and though there is a o-ring inside the battery compartment to help keep water out it would probably be best not to submerse this toy in water or get water on the control/ base section of the toy.

Cleaning is easy just use soap and warm water or your favorite toy cleaner will work as well. Ceramic is ideal for cleaning because it doesn't absorb liquids. Do not use rough, abrasive or metallic scrubbers on Doriane to prevent damaging her. Though she is very durable and strong if dropped check for cracks or chips and if you find the slightest evidence of damage do not use the toy again. This toy is great for temperature play but do not expose the toy to extreme temperature changes or it could damage it. Run it under warm water to heat and you may stick it in the freezer to cool it down but never stick it in the microwave. You can use any types of lube you prefer with Doriane, she isn't picky.

Doriane comes in a pretty black cardboard type box with a clear cutout in the top of the front of the box to show a little of her off. The box has pretty flower designs splayed out on it and the back a few short facts about the toy in 7 different languages. The side with the cutout window slides off and Doriane sits in a thick foam cutout to keep her safe. When you pull Doriane and the foam out you find a stretchy velour drawstring storage pouch to keep the toy in if you so choose not to keep her in the box she can in.
