Swirl spot lollipop by Topco

The Swirl Spot Lollipop looks cute on the web page, and at first glance, the vibe looks even better in person; the bubble plastic packaging and tasteful dark-purple insert would be attractive to beginners and advanced users alike. Once opened, it thankfully comes without that gross rubber smell common to many jelly sex toys. It does have a very, very faint smell to it, but it’s mostly a pleasant sweet smell; I think it’s lightly perfumed.

The actual egg/bullet portion looks and feels great; solid, smooth, and well-made. Unfortunately, the control end of the vibe needs a little more work. I inserted the batteries (after taking about five minutes to find the very faint and somewhat oddly-placed direction indicators) and screwed the cap on, then hit the on button. It didn’t turn on.

It turned out that the housing for the electrical components was a little loose, so after a little non-technical jiggery-pokery and a little persistence the vibe started up. If I travel with it or shake it roughly I still have to play with it a little to get it to work again, but it hasn’t completely failed yet. What makes this vibe worth the lousy construction of the power unit (rendering it useless near water, contrary to its waterproof designation; with the control panel coming loose I don’t dare try) is its power… the first and strongest setting has quite the oomph to it! The other settings all vary between that high and a nice, gentle low, and were extremely pleasant. Due to its power and texture, I am able to bring myself to climax extremely quickly if I so choose.

The sound can get a little loud at times, but it’s still quieter than some stronger vibes. I do think a flared base for easy anal play would have been nice. Despite its shortcomings, this has become (at least temporarily) my new favorite vibe.

In summary, the Swirl Spot Lollipop has structural shortcomings, but otherwise it’s perfect for those looking for a strong vibe, both beginners and advanced users. The size is completely unintimidating to beginners, but it still packs quite a punch!
