On first inspection of the vibrating thong I was impressed with the softness of the lace and the beautiful vibrant red color. The lace is a print of roses, and the seams, while visible, were decent for a pair of novelty panties. The elastic is not too stretchy, both in the waist and in the legs, meaning that there is a small window of sizes that this will fit well. While I will address the fit concerns first, I want to first say that the fit not working out does not mean that this is not a great product overall. I'll explain more below.

The Remote Controlled vibrating thong is yet another case of "one size fits small". I'm not a small girl, but my hips aren't really my main trouble area. I wear a size large in panties or a size 6/7 in the numbered panty sizes. This I believe is actually pretty "average" though maybe on the high end of average. I figured that "One sized fits most" would be tight on me, but these go beyond tight. I especially thought being a thong it would be ok, since it wouldn't be a matter of my butt or thighs, which I'll admit, are on the larger side. I would say these are best for someone who wears a size small in panties, someone in a medium would fit fine, but they might be pretty snug. If you fit a large like me the chances of it fitting are slim.

The main problem lies with the stretch of the fabric lengthwise. Widthwise they do stretch very well, but like a lot of lace fabrics there is virtually no stretch vertically. This means that while the thong will stretch to fit around a larger waist, the waist will only reach the middle of someone's butt because it's not very long. This is NOT a style I like to sport! I think these thong panties would fit well on someone who is petite and/or someone who likes low on the waist hip hugger type panties. The next problem with the fit of these panties is where the pocket for the bullet is. It's actually underneath, and fits more on the middle of the labia, rather than up high towards where my clitoris sits. Vibrations there are still nice, but they're not what I was looking for. This does however avoid a bulge if someone wanted to wear these panties with tight fitting pants or a tight skirt.

See, a bulge would be created if the bullet sat more towards the front, because it's not exactly a tiny bullet. It's actually a rectangle that's rounded on the back (where it hugs against the body) and flat on the top. It is about two and a half inches long and about one inch thick. You can see how that could be problematic if it was placed towards the front of one's body. Unfortunately though, being placed underneath doesn't really do much good if one is attempting orgasm. Again, this is mainly an issue of fit, and if you are petite it's possible that the vaginal area would also be more petite and the clitoris might line up right.

The bullet itself is pretty darn spiffy, and it makes the whole thing worthwhile for me, even though the panties do not fit me. See, the rounded rectangle shape allows the bullet to stay in place well, even in normal panties. If you have a pair of panties that are snug it sits in there nicely and you can place it anywhere you want it for ideal stimulation. The bullet is also really where the majority of the cost associated with this product stems from, since it's remote controlled and actually works well. I tried having my husband in another room than me and having him control it and it works beautifully. He can be upstairs and me downstairs, he can be behind a closed door, it just works. We've had so much fun letting him control the vibrations at his whim.

The remote control and bullet are pretty basic. They're made of black plastic, which is nice and discreet. Neither of them say California Exotics, which is nice since they're a very commonly known sex toy manufacturer. It simply says C.E.N.I and there is no indication about what this is for. It just has a switch that says off and on which turns a red light on. You could keep this in your purse and no one would be the wiser. The bullet has no buttons on it at all. I'd just recommend not keeping the batteries in the bullet, if someone presses the button on the remote and it starts vibrating the jig is up.

The bullet is not silent, but the noise is muffled by being inside panties and pants. I wouldn't recommend going into a quiet room wearing this, people close to you will likely hear it, probably not to the point that they know what it is, but they might wonder if someone's cell phone is vibrating. But, to wear it in a movie theatre, in a restaurant, a club, it'd be perfect. The bullet takes 2 AA batteries and the remote control takes 1 12V battery. The 12V is included, but the AAs are not.

So, in the end I love the bullet, and for me the panties not fitting isn't a huge deal. I personally have never been a huge fan of lacy panties and I'm just as happy to tuck this bullet into a pair of my own panties. I think with products such as this the main concern is does the bullet work, think of the panties as a bonus. I've read a lot of negative things about remote control bullets, but this one is pretty awesome. The only thing I'd change is I'd like to see it have multiple speeds or patterns, this bullet only has a single speed. If it had an escalating pattern I'd be in heaven. It's hard for me to orgasm from straight vibrations unless they're pretty strong or if I have other stimulation. The vibrations from the bullet are strong, and will probably be enough to bring sensitive users to climax. For me they're not that strong but honestly, I don't want to orgasm in public! I'm loud, and I'd probably not be able to contain it. I like these because I can get myself worked up (or my husband can get me worked up rather) and then we can sneak away or wait until we get home for the main event!

To take care of your bullet and remote I'd recommend wiping them down with a damp cloth. The way the battery cap is situated I would not by any means put either under running water or get them excessively wet. The panties should be hand washed under cold water.
