The Fairy Rechargeable Wand Massager is an all over the body deep massages. But to the world of sex toys this wand is used for mind blowing clitoral stimulation. The design (due to the color) is more targeted for women, but men and women can enjoy this all the same. The purpose of this wand is for external vibrations, but you can purchase many attachments which can be for internal stimulation.

If you are new to the world of clitoral vibes and are looking to check out wand massagers, I am going to recommend you first try Wanachi Mini, it is very beginner friendly, affordable, and powerful (even for the clit of steel ladies.)If you find that those vibrations are too powerful for you, then massager vibes are not for you, because they are all the deep and rumbly, but if you like the vibrations they I recommend getting a more expensive massager vibe. However if you need more than 30 minutes to get off, than this fairy is not for you.

The fairy rechargeable is made out of plastic that is firm, smooth, but has some rippled texture on the side. The rippled texture on the side really doesn't do anything for the massager while it is in use, since the texture is blocked out by such powerful vibrations.

Plastic is odorless, tasteless, latex free, phthalates free, hypo-allergenic, and non porous. The best part about this material is that you can share it, but you should take the proper safety precautions, which is wiping down with an alcohol and water solution in between partners, but only if you use it on the genitals. The material has a body safety rating of an 8.

The Fairy is designed like most of the massager vibes, which is a handle with a ball on the end. The has curves so you can hold onto it easily and the dial is located perfectly below these curves. So perfect that just by the move of your thumb you can turn it on, but don't worry about hitting it while you use this, it is not easily hit. The head is attached to the handle with flexible ripples, these are so you can bend your hand to press against you. These ripples do attract dirt and lint, so you will want to clean them carefully with a wipe or rag. The massager's total length is 8" and the head has a 5.75" circumference (1.75"diameter.) This is not insertable and I do not recommend trying.

Since this vibrator is a back massager we have turned into a sex toy, it is discreet, you can get away with saying " It is for my Charlie Horse's" or something along those lines. I think the size is small enough for travel, but it would not be if you do not have much room in your suitcase. The other issue with traveling would be if you are traveling outside of the US, you might need an adapter to plug it in. It is compatible in size to a bottle of shaving cream. I do not recommend this for beginners, since the power level, but if you are interested in trying massager type vibes see the "Use" section of my review for a good starter massager.

This Fairy is powered by Lithium Ion battery that is rechargeable by an AC adapter, but this is not the usual bulky black box on the end, instead it is thin and white, even the prongs fold down to be compact. You have 55" to work with for the cord. The end of this, that plugs into the toy, is not the usual AC adapter plug either, it is a white plastic piece that plugs into the back of the massager. There is a tiny chip, on the massager, that plugs into the adapter. There is a rubbery piece over top of this chip to protect it. You will know the fairy is being charged by the green light that lights up, this is under the speed dial. The charge seems to take about 30-40 minutes to charge, but they only last about 30 minutes. When this fairy dies, it dies completely right in the middle of use.

This is not waterproof, so ladies who are squirter's watch your juices, they can damage no waterproof toys. (I know I have done this to two previous massagers.) The vibrations are controlled by the power switch located on the front of the massager. This switch just spins down until you have reached the intensity for you. These vibrations are beyond 5 vrooms, they are strong, deep, and rumbly. The sound is extremely loud and comparable to a lawn mower. There are no patterns to the vibrations, just steady solid vibrations that range from low to high, but even low is pretty intense.

The fairy is fairly easy to clean. I recommend using toy wipes to clean this, since the wipes are thin enough to get into the grooves. You will not want to run this under running water. If you share this you should wipe it down with an alcohol and water solution.

The fairy comes with a pouch that is suitable for storage. The pouch is not padded with pull string to close it. It is made of a fleece like material, which can be hand washed and air dried, if you need to. The pouch is big enough for the wand and the charger.

Plastic is compatible with all lubes.

My first use of this fairy was great. I fell in love with the deep rumbly vibrations and was able to reach orgasm, but I like to do this more than once in a session. The fairy died before I could get to the second round and at the bad time too. You know the time were you are so close, but so far away when the vibrator dies.
