Dual bullets - bullet vibrator by Shaki Toys - review by ~LaUr3n~

If you have been following my reviews, you'll know that I don't expect much from any Shaki made product. I have to say that this product is the best that I have tried of theirs. While I don't believe some of what the package says, that are some things that are true. These bullets ARE very powerful. What they are not is quiet, AA battery run, or waterproof. However, for the price, you do get not one, but two very powerful bullets with a soft texture. They have a few vibration patterns too. There is something for every clitoris. I don't recommend these bullets for insertion since there is a pretty gnarly seam on them. Also, don't expect to wow a friend by giving this as a gift. The packaging is nothing special and kind of cheesy.

The Dual Bullets are made of ABS plastic which is free of phthalates and latex, is hypo-allergenic, and food-grade material. I can feel that the plastic isn't very dense, and thus not very strong, but it does have a lovely velvety texture. It is finer than most which gives it an almost silky feel. The plastic cannot be sterilized so sharing is not a good idea without a condom (those are not fun to use with bullets). I did not notice any smell or taste to these bullets.

The Dual Bullets are the same size as each other. They are 2 1/4" long, almost 1 1/4" in diameter, and about 2" in circumference. Their size is actually able to fit into many toys that require bullets. They are also a good size for fitting between bodies, if you don't mind the cords. Supposedly these bullets are supposed to be waterproof, but I advice not taking the bullets under water or inserting them either. At the base of each bullet, where the cords enter, is a rubber washer/plug. It is not secure. They easily can be pulled out, therefor not making these safe for water or insertion. The washers do secure the cords a bit better though. This is a plus.

The cords are thicker than usual Shaki cords, an improvement! They are VERY long at 34" long. This is great for if you want to use these with a partner. The ends have normal AC jacks that plug into the controller and battery compartment. This can be a good feature for when you accidentally tug on the cords. Instead of ripping straight out of the toy, they will simply detach reducing stress on the cords and possibly saving the life of your toy.

The control pack is long and thin. It is 4" long, 1 1/8" wide, and 5/8" thick. It fits nicely in the hand and is super easy to control since all the buttons are in the same place. The center round button with the number 7 on it turns the toy on and off. There is a circular button ring on the outside of that button. It can be pressed up or down to do the same to the vibration level. It will also start the patterns. There is also an indicator light that shows when it is on.

The control pack is NOT waterproof. The battery cover just slides on and snaps in (two AAA batteries get inserted despite the package saying two AA), but there is nothing to prevent moisture to stop from getting in. The area where the bullets plug in is not waterproof either.

Because the design is so traditional, this toy is not discreet. It is pretty light weight though and would not take up much room in a suitcase or luggage bag.

I love that the controls on this vibrator are simple and straight forward. Press the center button to turn on the first of three steady levels of vibration. The vibrations are slightly buzzy, which in combination with the hard, plastic material might be uncomfortable for some, but this can be fixed by adding a bullet sleeve or using it over panties.

1. The first level is a steady, moderate level of vibration that is great for teasing and arousal. It is pretty and likely won't be heard through a door or across a room.

2. The second level is also steady, but slightly higher in intensity. The sound level is still fairly low.

3. There is a large jump in intensity to this third level. I consider this to be a high level.

4. This is the first level of patterned vibration. It flutters from level one to two, and then repeats.

5. On the third level of intensity, the vibration strongly pulses with a moment of space in between each.

6. Also on the third level, the pulses get a lot faster. Both this and 5 are much louder and might be heard through a door.

7. The last level is a slightly higher steady vibration than the third. It's for those women who need a lot of power!

I preferred the choices 1-4, but all of them were enjoyable in some way. My favorite is the forth. The fluttering pulses are a great way to tease. When I am ready, I cycle through the rest until I finish. The vibrations feel great on the clitoris and nipples, as well as other external parts of the body.

You can use any kind of lubrication with these bullets. Just be careful to not apply lubricant near the area where the wires connect. It's also not a good idea to insert these without a condom. To clean, they can be wiped down with a damp cloth and soap or a toy cleaner. Let them dry and then place them back in the package or just as is. They won't melt to other materials, which is nice for storage.

The packaging is kind of cheesy. This is mostly due to the claims on the package, some of which are not true. The bullets and controller rest in a cheap, plastic tray that slides into a pink and purple cardboard box. For one, the back of the box says that it takes 2 AA batteries, when in fact, it takes 2 AAA. Regardless, it works for storage, but is not discreet due to the large words on the package and the windows showing the bullets in the front.

I really was pleasantly surprised with these bullets. I like that the cords are long so I can use one on my clit and one on my nipples at the same time. Or my partner can choose one and I can control the other. I am not a fan of smaller bullets due to the fact that I have a small clit, but the power on these made up for the small ends. I'm not one to usually insert bullets, but I will try for the sake of reviews. There is an uncomfortable seem in the center of the bullets that makes only the first inch insertable. This didn't matter to me, but it might be note worthy for some who insert bullets instead of using them externally.

Even my partner likes these. I could use one underneath his boys and the other on the underside of the head of his penis. The higher levels of vibration were too much for him, as they were for me as well, but we both found some of the levels arousing and stimulating. This is a cute, inexpensive, and easy toy to use with a partner and you don't have to be a beginner to enjoy it.
