Thankfully, there is no smell to this bullet! I did not bother to taste the vibrator. I don't usually lick on my vibrators lol. This is a very smooth, plastic toy and that works especially for my girlfriend because texture and ridges seem to be too much for her. The one thing that seems to be a problem with this toy is that the battery compartment is tricky when changing batteries. The batteries are easy to put in but, the compartment in which the batteries lye has to be placed a certain way in order for the vibrator to function. You will also have to screw the top on a certain way for it to function. It is difficult to explain this "certain way." You just have to make sure that the coils over the top rests firmly on the bronze top of the battery compartment and that may take some time.

Now, I'm a patient person so this really does not phase me. My solution? Plan ahead. Do not wait until you are horny and ready to bust a nut to change this guy. I usually change the batteries and makes sure it is working either after masturbating/sex or just randomly during the day I will make the adjustments.
