The diamond lover bullet arrived in a transparent, plastic, clamshell package. The packaging is not discreet. Through the front of the packaging, you can see the bullet and remote through the plastic. The front also states the brand, product name, and has a photo of a blond model. The back of the packaging states the same information as the front, along with a few of the product features, company contact information, and has the product materials listed.



The materials of the product are as follows:

Bullet and remote: ABS (plastic) with PU Cote
Décor Ring (on bullet): ABS with Silver Plating
Crystals: Glass

The features of the product as listed on the packaging are: 5 intense speed vibrations, velvety soft finish, exquisite diamond detail, luminous LED light, and petite and discreet controller.

Inside of the package is the bullet with the corded remote and a little, plastic package that holds the instructions manual. The manual is printed in 6 different languages and states the battery insertion instructions, instructions for use, and warnings. The instruction manual is not product specific; it is a manual that Cal Exotics provides with all vibrating toys. This is not a big deal though, because the product is very simple to use and understand.

The coating on the plastic bullet makes it feel smooth like velvet. There is no drag to the bullet when running it across the skin on my arm, but when used for clitoral stimulation, lubricant was needed because there was a bit of drag. You can use oil, silicone, or water based lubricant with the Diamond Lover bullet.

The product requires 3x AAA batteries, which are not included. The battery compartment is located on the backside of the remote. The compartment cover slides on and off and is very simple to open and close.



The cord from the bullet to the remote is quite long, so I didn’t find it to get in the way when I had used it.

The remote has 2 buttons on the front of it; an up and down button. There are 5 speeds to the bullet. On the first speed, the vibrations are quite mild and quiet. As you increase the speed, the more intense the vibrations get, as well as the noise. Also, the LED light gets brighter each time you increase the level of speed. The nice thing about the different speeds is that they accommodate new toy users with the mild lower settings, as well as those who enjoy speed levels that rock your socks off. I personally need stronger vibrations, and the level 4 and 5 were extremely satisfying for me. All of the speed levels produce a rumble vibration rather than a buzzy one.

At the lower speed settings (1-3), you would not be able to hear the vibrations through a closed door. On the higher speed settings (4-5), you would be able to hear them.



When I had used the bullet, I tried using it both internally and externally. I had never tried using a bullet internally before and I’ll admit, it really wasn’t anything to write home about. The bullet is quite short (see measurements above) and I prefer using longer insertable products. Also, I worried that I may break the cord when removing the bullet from inside of me. If you wanted to use the bullet internally, you could place the bullet inside of a condom before inserting it. It would be much easier to remove and would avoid ripping the cord from the bullet. There are no seam lines on the bullet, and the decor ring is only slightly raised from the bullet so it is not uncomfortable if you do decide to use it internally.

When I used the bullet externally the first time, my fingers went numb from holding the bullet in place for a long period of time (I had it on the highest setting for about 20-25 minutes). I had decided to try it again the next day, and everything went perfectly (no numbing) because I did not use it for as long of a period as I had the day before. I really am happy with the higher speed settings because they are quite powerful and that is exactly what I look for in vibrating toys. I was also really satisfied with how easy it was to control the remote, and the fact that there is a really long cord so you can move your arm around with the remote for comfort.

Cleaning the bullet is really easy because of the plastic material. You can use soap and water, toy cleaner, wipes, or rubbing alcohol. If you decide to share the toy, condoms should be used.

Overall I rate the Diamond Lover a 4 out of 5. It’s really pretty and it does pack a punch, but it loses a star because on the higher settings, it can make your fingers go numb if you use it for an extended amount of time. I prefer my rabbit vibrators and other clitoral stimulators to bullets, but the Diamond Lover bullet is excellent and I will definitely use it again when I’m feeling in the bullet-mood!

I hadn't used the Diamond Lover Bullet for quite awhile after my original review. Just recently (the past couple of months), I've started using it more. I like to switch up my toys every so often and decided to use the bullet along with a glass insertable. I do have to keep the bullet on the higher levels of vibration but it definitely gets the job done. The Diamond Lover also seems to be good on batteries. The Diamond Lover still has the original batteries I had used with it from back in January and it is still going strong. Lastly, the little rhinestone accents on the remote have not fallen out or become loose.
