Dream maker heavenly dolphin - rabbit vibrator discontinued by Evolved Novelties - review by Alicia

There's good parts about the Dream Maker Heavenly Dolphin, but there's also bad. And unfortunately there's also an ugly side too. In the end I remain with mixed feelings on the Heavenly Dolphin. The idea behind the Dolphin is that it's a dual stimulating vibrator made from TPR. The TPR is pretty plush, similar to the feel of jelly, and the shaft rotates and has rotating beads which are on a track, so you don't need to worry about them getting jammed. The clitoral stimulator is a dolphin, hence the name the Heavenly Dolphin. The vibrations carry from the bullet inside the Dolphin down through the Dolphin's nose. So, without further delay here is the Good, the Bad and the Ugly about his Heavenly Dolphin.


The Good:

The Heavenly Dolphin has a lot of options for both the rotations of the shaft and the vibrations of the clitoral stimulator. The rotations can go in either direction and also offer a few settings of switching back and forth. This is a lot more options than most offer. The clitoral stimulator, which can be controlled independently from the rotating shaft (another score!) is nice and strong and it fit my body pretty well. There were times I felt the need to hold it against me more, but it stretched to allow this easily. It also has different settings of both steady vibration and also escalations and pulsations. This is also a nice change over the rabbits that only offer steady vibration. It gives you quite a bit of options for what type of experience you'd like to have. The dolphin is also waterproof, so you can bring this into the shower or bath for some splashy fun. I also liked the lighted display that gives almost a little light show, doesn't really do much except add a bit of fun. It's also pretty quiet, which I appreciate since I don't have to worry about it being heard through a closed door.

I also liked the bumps along the shaft. They were awesome and could be felt easily when slowly thrusting the shaft in and out. It's not exactly a realistic feel, but if you kind of let go from reality for a moment it's kind of close. The shaft is also a bit flexible, which is always nice. Last but not least in the good department is the battery compartment. The cap screws on nicely ensuring water stays out and the batteries are in a little sleeve that you can take out and have them just sitting and ready to go for next time. The dolphin comes in a metal tin like most Evolved toys and you can store the dolphin in there with its battery sleeve in the case too.

The Bad:

Ok, maybe this should actually be the "not so good". Because honestly it wasn't BAD, it just wasn't as great as I'd have liked it to be. But, here it goes.. The rotating shaft and beads kind of fell short for me. The rotations are week and the beads don't pop out enough to be felt. I could feel them in my hand but when actually using the dolphin I couldn't feel the beads move really at all. I think maybe I could on such a subtle level that they did something for me without me knowing. but when using it I really didn't feel that much was happening except for the shape of the shaft itself being slid in and out. I tried holding still and not thrusting and that didn't do anything either really. Thing is that I did end up orgasming from the dolphin and while it was likely mostly because of the powerful clitoral stimulator I think in part it was because of the shaft. This is why I wouldn't really call it bad, but just not great, or even good.

The Ugly:

When I first got the Heavenly Dolphin I noticed that on the bumps along the shaft there were areas that were clouded. I thought maybe this was part of the design to highlight those areas. The rest was clear and I washed it before use and they remained clear. I then used it with water based lubricant and afterwards I went to wash it up. I noticed that this time when I washed it with a mild soap that the clouding spread. It's almost like there is some kind of oily residue on the TPR material that spreads when its washed. I tried a different kind of soap and still had this issue. I tried toy cleaner, same issue. Nothing seems to be able to get the Dolphin clear again and the entire toy is already clouded. I don't really know what to make of this and I haven't been able to successfully found anything about this when googling, so to be safe I've decided that I'll be using the Dolphin with a condom from now on. Since I don't use condoms with my husband and therefore don't keep them on hand often I guess I will just not be using the Heavenly Dolphin as much. I'm not really sure why this happened but I have heard of other Evolved TPR toys doing this and so I am thinking it might be something to do with the material itself.

I've found this toy to be best enjoyed solo. I find I need to rock it back and forth in an easy slow motion and so it's kind of a bit too tame for me to use with my husband. It's more of a relaxed experience for me and while it might be good for a bit of warm up with my husband, it's not the kind of thing we'd normally use with each other. I'd rather use either a clitoral vibrator or an insertable vibrator and allow him more access to stimulate me with his mouth or hands wherever the vibe is not. When using a rabbit style vibrator such as this one it occupies both the vagina and the clitoris and doesn't give anywhere for my husband to stimulate me himself.

The upside to this is that when I want to use something by myself I can just use this and it does the work for me and it is a slow and easy orgasm which sometimes are just what I am looking for.
