iVibe rhythm rabbit - rabbit vibrator by Doc Johnson - review by Breas

This rabbit put me to sleep. No, not because it was boring, but because it took me over the top and it wore me out. I had never tried a vibrator that rotated before, so this was a completely new experience. I’m pretty sure that the other insertable products I have now will be seeing a lot less of me now that I’ve found “the one”.

The Ivibe Rhythm Rabbit comes in a transparent plastic packaging. You can see the product through the packaging on the front. The front of the packaging has the name of the product, a few of the features of the product, as well as the brand logo. The back of the packaging has a simple diagram of the product, a full list of the product features, company information, and a few other less-significant text pieces.

The product features as listed on the packaging are as follows:

-Silicone sleeve
-8 speed clitoral stimulation
-8 speed rolling disc rotation
-2 unique pleasure functions
-Dual stimulation for maximum satisfaction
-Water-proof
-Non-phthalate

This is the first layer to the packaging. You slip this “sleeve” off the inner packaging, and you are left with a clamshell plastic casing around the rabbit vibrator. You can see both the outer and inner packaging below.







The inner casing holds the rabbit vibrator, and a sheet of instructions. The instructions manual comes in 6 different languages and states the battery insertion instructions, what to do if there is an electrical malfunction, instructions for use, and warnings.

I did not notice any odours coming from the product when I opened the packaging. The rabbit takes 4x AA batteries to operate (which are not included). The battery compartment is on the bottom of the vibrator, and has an easy to use twist-and-lock cap. I love the cap because when I’m using a waterproof toy, I’m always very concerned that I didn’t close it tightly enough.

The vibrator is is purple and clear in colour, and has a bit of transparency to it (except for the battery compartment). There is a seam line down the vibrator, but does not make a difference in feeling when inserted. The shaft of the vibrator has a ribbed texture to it, and the head of the vibrator has a realistic look to it (is made to resemble the head of a penis). The head of the vibrator is the only part that really has any flexibility to it other than the clitoral stimulation piece. I’ve attached two photos below to show you the flexibility of both parts.





The product material is silicone (yay!), so only water-based lubricants should be used with the rabbit. Silicone products can be fully disinfected in boiling water, but for a quick clean up, soap and water will suffice. The ribbed texture makes cleaning the product a little more-time consuming. Be sure to thoroughly get between the ribs, especially underneath the head of the vibrator. Also, be sure to store this product separately from other silicone toys.

The vibrator has a built in control pad. On the left side there is an on and off button which controls the clit stimulator, and on the right side it has the same on and off button and it controls the rotating discs in the shaft of the vibrator. There are three buttons down the middle of the control pad. They are described on the package as follows:

Function 1: Clit stimulator vibrates while head rotates and pleasure discs swirl
Function 2: Clit stimulator creates slow, relaxed vibrator while head pivots right to left, front to back.
Function 3: Clit stimulator pulses in short, quick motions as the head swings to and fro.

Function 2 & 3 are both pre-set, and when you press Function 1, you can control the power and speed of the settings. I found the clitoral stimulator to be quite powerful even at it’s lowest setting. The rotation of the discs and the movement of head was an amazing feeling. Like I had said, I’ve never had an insertable that does this, so the feeling really rocked my world! One thing I really like too is that you can adjust both functions to the level you prefer. Also, you can leave the one function off (ie. clitoral stimulator), while the rotating head and discs stay on (and vice versa).

The rotating discs have a buzzing sound to them, and the volume does not increase when you increase the power. The sound just gets faster. As for the clitoral stimulator, at the lowest setting you can barely hear it. As you increase the power to this setting, the volume gets much louder. It has a humming sound to it. You will absolutely be able to hear this through a closed, especially on the highest setting of both functions.




As for my experience, I flippin’ LOVED it. Like I had mentioned above, I had never tried a vibrator that had rotation to it, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I found the rotations really pleasurable, and the ribbed texture was a great addition as well. I liked the fact that I could adjust both the clitoral stimulator and the vibrator shaft.

The only other rabbit vibrator I had tried was the EZ-Bend Triple Tease. When I first tried that product I thought it was fabulous, but now that I’ve tried the Ivibe, it’s incomparable.

I’ve never used a toy that pushed me so far over the edge of pleasure that I fall asleep, and sleep like a baby... until now.

Since I have not used a variety of other rabbits, and have not used any rotating insertable products before this one, I really cannot compare the Ivibe with other similar products. From my experience though, I would recommend this to new and advanced toy users alike. However, if you need a more subtle vibration for external use (clitoris), then this may not be the product you are looking for. As I said, the lowest setting of the clitoral stimulator is quite powerful, and only gets stronger as you increase the setting.

The one thing I could say that was a bit confusing, was the fact that I had to look at the control pad upside down and had to remember which side controlled which function. This was only confusing for the first minute or two though. I eventually got the hang of it.

This product would get a 6 out 5 stars if that were possible (but since it’s not, I’ll have to settle with a 5 out of 5). This toy is my new favourite and will be my go-to toy from now on.

I still LOVE my IVibe Rhythm Rabbit!!! It still rocks my world, every time. I haven't tried any other rabbit vibrators since the IVibe, but I don't really have any strong desires to get another one when this one works so wonderfully for me. Eventually I'll try another rabbit, but the IVibe will always stay at the top of my list for insertable products.
