The Little Pleasure Wand

Overall, it’s a neat little toy that works well for travel. It’s safe, comes in cute colors, and is relatively inexpensive compared to other magic wands. Personally, it just never will be the toy for me. The vibrations are just not strong enough for me. However, if you like a softer touch, softer vibrations, and want a waterproof wand massager, the Mini Wanachi could be exactly what you’re looking for.

extremely useful review
The Mini Wanachi is supposed to be an affordable, smaller version of the ever-popular Wanachi Magic Wand. It is produced by Pipedream Products and sold at this sex toy store. It’s about seven inches long. The head is made of silicone, and the body of the toy is made of plastic. (REMEMBER: SILICONE LUBE IS NOT SAFE FOR USE WITH SILICONE TOYS!) Since the product is made of silicone, I would recommend using a water-based lubricant. The top of the head has a diameter of a little under an inch. The head is adjustable and tilts at nearly a 90 degree angle if need be. This was meant for external use and not for internal use of any kind.

The packaging it comes with is pretty basic. The Mini Wanachi just comes in a little box, slightly bigger than its own size. The box is really classy and just shows the product with a black/white gradient in the background. The box doesn’t hold weight well, so this is only a suitable storage option if you plan on keeping this box on top of any other objects. Otherwise, the box will get crushed. I would suggest something along the lines of a medium sized storage case.

Cleaning this massager is pretty easy. That’s because it is waterproof, so you don’t have to be careful about the water. You can use warm water and anti-bacterial soap in order to clean your massager, and if you want to share it with others, I recommend putting it into a condom.

The Mini Wanachi runs on two AA batteries. The battery compartment is just at the end of the wand – much like it would be with other traditional vibrators. The batteries slide in really easily to the battery compartment, + side first. You seal the cap back on tightly, then you can use the twist dial at the bottom of the base to adjust the power of the vibrations. It goes from pretty low to a moderate-high – nothing amazingly powerful here. The vibrations are relatively quiet. The vibrations are controlled through the dial at the base of the mini wand massager. This is a progressive dial, so there really aren’t any set “speeds”; but you can change it from low to high for your personal preference. The vibrations on high, can certainly be heard in the same room; but you won’t be able to hear them outside of a closed door. As the head is also flexible, the vibrations do not get any louder when the head is flexing either. The vibrator gets weaker if the batteries are dying. If you think that your vibrator seems extra-weak, just go and replace the batteries as that seems to help a lot. That’s really the best warning sign to know if you need to replace the batteries or not. However, because it uses the battery power within a few weeks, I would recommend using rechargeable batteries for this toy.

How does this hold up compared to the Wanachi? Well, it’s just not the same. Despite being run by batteries, the Mini Wanachi is actually still less powerful than the rechargable Wanachi. The small surface area of the Mini Wanachi also seems to pale in comparison to the full-size Wanachi. The Wanachi is rechargeable and doesn’t require batteries while the Mini Wanachi requires two AA batteries. However, the Wanachi is a pain in the butt to travel with or use during sex while the Mini Wanachi is extremely easy to travel with and is tiny enough to be pretty useful during sex. It does lack the power of the full-size Wanachi though, so that’s something to consider. But it also has a cheaper price tag. Decisions, decisions.
Experience
The Mini Wanachi was comfortable to use but not always the greatest. The handle is pretty easy to grip, but I found myself wishing that the handle actually had more girth to it. In fact, I found myself actually wanting the flexible head to go away. Anytime I’d want to use pressure, the head would be “flexible”. It ended up making me a little more frustrated than I’d like to be. I also found that I was wishing the vibrations were stronger. The vibrations were relatively decent, but if they had more strength I feel like it would have been much easier to be satisfied with it. I must say that I was really hoping for more vibration strength. Personally, sometimes there was no way I could orgasm with this vibrator alone. I had to use a toy for vaginal penetration. I did find that if you tend to use the side of the wand’s head instead of the tip of the wand’s head, you do get a lot stronger vibrations. The tip seems to really have the weakest vibrations as it is the farthest away from the motor.

This is definitely on the low side of the strengths, and it also is extremely high-pitched and buzzy. If you apply pressure, the vibrations almost completely go away. So if you are the type of person that really enjoys pressure applied with your vibrators during use, this vibrator is probably not the best choice for you. However, if you really enjoy softer surface vibrations and those are best for you, this vibrator will do an amazing job for you.

The one thing that really bothers me was the "flexible" part of the head started to tear. Being that it is silicone material, it is very susceptible to ripping and tearing. Leaving you with more of a bullet and a control wand! One other thing was the fact that when using the toy, I found that the handle could get hot at times. Not "oh, this is a bit warm and uncomfortable" type of feeling but having to switch hands or take a break and let it cool off type of hot.

I have the maxi and I'm in love with that one. I kinda wanted to try the mini, but knowing it's weaker kinda makes me not want to try it anymore.
