A Recession-Friendly Vibrator

Every mini bullet I buy is bittersweet. I know it won't be in my toy chest forever; it will remain there for probably somewhere between 9 and 12 months at most. Still, I know that this tiny toy can deliver what I'm looking for time and time again, and that I've got about a year of very good orgasming ahead of me thanks to the mini bullet.

extremely useful review
I love toys. I am always enthralled to see the newest innovation on a classic design or a newer, safer and sexier material. But at the end of the day I want my toys -- and particularly my vibrators -- to get the job done. And while I have had fancier, more expensive bullets, I always find myself coming back to this reliable and affordable little guy because it does just that. It consistently "gets the job done", and it does so with flying colors.

The Doc Johnson mini bullet should be a staple item on any sex boutique's shelves if it's worth the card stock its business card is printed on. Doc Johnson may not be the most luxurious or ground-breaking company, but it is great for standards like the bullet. The mini bullet is simple and sexy, not to mention small enough to take in your purse to a party or club or on a date. This bullet really is a girl's best and most discreet friend. Scenario: you're anticipating a little action with a new partner after your date tonight, but you don't know what to expect. Well, there's really no reason to take chances: drop this in your clutch and when/if your partner is having a little difficulty finding that special spot, slip this into their hand. Which is another reason the mini bullet rocks: its humble dimensions and unobtrusive shape makes it a great way to introduce toys into a sexual relationship. For a new relationship, or an old one that has previously been toy deficient, this vibrator is an excellent ice breaker.

It's also an ideal nightstand companion for when you're going at it solo. With a controller that fits comfortably in your palm, you can control the intensity of the vibration with a click of a button. Tease yourself by speeding up and slowing down, or steadily crescendo your way into a toe-curling clitoral orgasm. The controller provides you with plenty of options. In my experience this vibrator has more power than I really know what to do with, and I rarely if ever use the highest setting. I've also found it's not just fun for ladies, either! I have used it with my boyfriend on his balls and he loved it, although keep in mind that a lower setting might be preferable for this kind of play. And did I mention that it's waterproof? There are much better things to do in the shower than sing, and getting off with this ranks among one of my top 3 favorites. For this reason, clean-up is that much easier: a little soap and warm water does the trick, and that's probably part of your shower routine anyway.

This remains my favorite vibrator after so many coming and going in my life. Perhaps the only downside to this toy, and any other bullet with a controller, is its comparatively short lifespan. Their circuitry does not stand up to the test of time the way a vibrator would that is not hooked up to a controller via a tenuous wire. My bullets tend to last about a year, depending on the frequency of usage and care. Removing the batteries when not using the product helps extend this guy's life, as well as storing it in a place where its wiring is not likely to become snagged on anything. With proper care you can expect a dependable year from the mini bullet, but not too much longer. However, the upside is that the mini bullet is pretty inexpensive, so replacement is not going to break the bank. For the money, you get much more than what you pay for in the time that your bullet stays with you.
Follow-up commentary
No miraculous developments with this vibrator in any particular direction: it still has the draw-backs of eventually buzzing itself out, but it has continued to perform very well (and economically!) in the meantime. Additionally, after a run-in with an extra-slippery bullet vibrator in the recent past, I've come to appreciate the matte texture of this one more so as well. Still like this one!

Nice review! Though Doc Johnson toys in my experience with them don't tend to have long life spans, lol. Which is sad because they're always quite nice while they last.

Honestly, I have had more expensive bullets and they've never lasted any longer than this one. I still prefer it to others because it's inexpensive so replacing it isn't heartbreaking. Vibrators, like an iPod or any other small electronic device, have relatively short lifespans. Sad but true Sad face
