The Not-So-Orgasmic Cone

In all honesty, after trying this vibrator, I think I am done with reviewing vibrators. This one was pretty disappointing, to me at least.

somewhat useful review
Upon opening the packaging for the Orgasmic Cone, I decided maybe I should follow the suggestion to leave the vibrator sitting out in open air for a few days. The PVC odor was pretty overpowering, though after a week or so I couldn’t smell it at all, even if I held it up to my nose.

Finally able to use my vibrator after having a cast on my leg for a few months, I pulled it and my bottle of lubricant out of my closet, along with a condom. I carefully slipped the condom over the vibrator’s body, following that with a generous amount of lube.

I lay on my back, positioning the Orgasmic Cone vibe between my thighs, and slowly inserted it. Once it was fully inside, I hit the “on” switch, and adjusted the controls for the swing and vibration of the toy. Almost immediately I could feel the little rotating pearls rubbing uncomfortably against a bone inside me, as well as the tip of the clitoral stimulator scratching me. I tried to adjust it a bit to make it more comfortable, but ended up making the pearls rub harder. Eventually, I just pulled it out and finished myself off with my hand.

The Orgasmic Cone vibe was actually surprisingly quiet; I was expecting it to be louder. With my little space heater on, and also under the covers, I doubt my brother, whose room is across the hall from mine, could hear a thing.

Clean up was pretty easy. I just pulled off the condom, then took the vibrator into my bathroom and washed it with some soap and warm water.

I don’t know if it is just me or not, but I haven’t really found a vibrator that I enjoy using often; most of them I use a few times, then try out a different one only to get the same results. Therefore, I don’t really feel justified in recommending anyone to use or not use this vibrator. Maybe someone who has more experience with vibrators would have better luck with it than I did.

I like that you talked about condom use and the cleaning of this toy. Did you have any problems with moisture getting into the battery and control area? Thanks!

Eeek, I'm sorry it was uncomfortable! Have you tried out any non-insertable vibrators?
  • Contributor: darthkitt3n
Yeti: No, I didn't have any problems with that, the control area got a little slippery, but was still easy to use.

toygirl2: Yes, I've tried those, and have found that I don't really enjoy those either :/

Did you find that the rotation/vibration decreased when used at the same time?
  • Contributor: darthkitt3n
The vibration felt more intense when the rotation was turned off, and vice versa. Probably because of the two different sensations colliding when both were turned on.

If the sensations were competing with eachother for power, it's a shitty ass toy and I think nothing else needs to be said.

Maybe you could look into non-rotating rabbit style vibes?

Wow, done with reviewing vibrators? Don't give up! There are better ones out there.
