Lucid dream no. 9 - g-spot vibrator by Doc Johnson - review by MidnightStorm

I bought this toy after a run in with a terrible bullet from the same store. I'm always hesitant to buy sex toys because you never really know if you'll like it until you buy it, but I was and am very glad that I bought this bad boy. Most of the shapes of the other Lucid Dream toys were a little exotic for me at the time of purchase, so I opted for this one instead because of its sleek shape and pretty color.



By far, this isn't the most powerful vibrator I own, but I'm not sure that it needs to be, all things considered. The real seller to this toy is its shape: it's absolutely perfect for g-spot stimulation. This was actually the first "traditional" vibrator that I bought (I only had experience with jack rabbits prior to this one) and I have fallen in love with it. Buried deep inside, the rumbling vibration is the perfect addition to this toy. The ridges, as well, are fantastic. Another added bonus is that this toy is almost completely silent. Many of my toys (especially my more powerful bullets) are exceedingly loud. This one is very quiet and I never worry about alerting anyone that I'm using it.



The one large downside to this toy is that it gets a little hard to hold on to. Because it's more of an "average" length (for me at least) it fits almost completely inside of me. I'm a very wet girl, so trying to fiddle with the vibration and movement when the toy has almost disappeared inside of me gets to be a little complicated. Because of this, I have also discovered that it's a fantastic toy to just "leave inside" when playing with my clit, which almost makes up for the difficulties I have moving it in and out when I just want to be fucked.



As for cleaning, the simple design makes the toy very easy to keep clean. Well, with one exception: the base. The piece which screws off for battery insertion is, unfortunately, ridged. I assume that the logic behind this was to make it easier to hold on to, but instead it makes it harder to clean, especially if you're the type to put off cleaning until the next day. I often have to brush mine off with something, or use a toothpick (or something similar) to get into the nooks within the base to keep it clean.



Finally, I will also note that while this is a pretty sturdy toy, it's not going to last forever. I've had mine for about two years now and although it still vibrates quite well, it's definitely beginning to show signs of age. The screw on the back is slightly rusted, the screw-on base has become cracked in several areas (I don't screw it on particularly tight, so these are literally just from age), and the knob that controls the vibration has become quite loose. Unfortunately, the looseness of the knob does mean that the base sometimes rattles during play; although it can be stopped, it can sometimes be a bit of a mood killer.
