Use

The Pearl Panther is a fun and stimulating rabbit vibe. The thick HOT pink shaft is intended to be inserted vaginally while the 4" long panther rests against your clit. This toy may be a little intimidating for beginners as it is pretty large and shocking in person, plus the diameter of the shaft may be a bit big for some. This is a fun toy to have around for some quick dual stimulation and can be great to use with a partner.

Material / Texture

The Pearl Panther is made up of rubber with the base being made of hard plastic. First on opening I noticed a thin kinda oily coating on the rubber part. After washing the coating off, the toy was slightly squishy with a little give to it and very smooth with a little ridge around the head making it a bit more realistic. It was not a sticky toy as I was expecting which was a nice suprise, but it does collect dust and hair easily. This panther has a strong rubber smell that has not faded with use or cleaning. Rubber is a porous material and you can not sterilize it. You can use a condom or toy cover for use to protect the toy and aid clean up, but sharing this kitty is not recommended. With this sexy cat you can use water-based lube or for something a little wilder you can use silicone-based lube if you prefer.

Design / Shape / Size

This sexy panther comes in at a whole 7.5" with only about 5" being comfortably inserted. The tip of the Pearl Panther starts with a slightly bulged head and ridge making it kinda life like. After the 1" head is about 2" of squishy bendy shaft leading into a 1.5" section with a twister gear filled with lovely pink and white beads covered in a thin coating of clear rubber. The diameter of this shaft is 1 1/4" which doesnt sound big, but this guy makes a tight fit for me and I go for bigger toys. The bottom 2" of the unusable part of the shaft sits the adorable pouncing panther. This guy is about 4" long nose to tail and has his front paws curled, ready to grab on while his smiling nose awaits your desire. The panther has a rather large bullet in him and has amazingly deep strong vibrations. The base is white hard plastic with a sliding cover on the back for the batteries and 4 control buttons on front.

The size and shape was perfect for my first rabbit and induced an instant orgasm with my first use. The panther can be uncomfortable with piercings if you don't get it positioned right. I would not recommend this toy for beginners or if you have a small vaginal canal, as the girth may be too much. The Pearl Panther is definately NOT discreet, pretty noisy, kinda large and bulky, so not good for travel either.

Functions / Performance / Controls

This panther comes with multiple functions: internal and external clitoral vibration, rotating beads and the twister. The controls are on the base and are little buttons that run from top of the toy to bottom. Starting at the top you have vibration low, vibration high, then rotation low, rotation high. To turn on functions you push and release the button for on and repeat to turn it off. The low settings have to be on for the high setting to work, so with 4 buttons to turn it off it is difficult to do in a hurry. There are only the low and high setting for both the vibration and rotate, no in between settings. The batteries are inserted under the back sliding cover and requires 3 AA's.

The rotation was pretty unique to me and felt amazing! I didn't even have to do anything but hold it where I wanted it. The low rotation is kinda weak and if you have strong vaginal muscles like me it probably won't work unless it's on high. The vibrations are great and can be felt through the entire toy on low or high. I actually find the high vibe setting to be my instant orgasm button if I want a quickie. If your a thruster be wary, the battery cover sometimes comes off too easily. The vibrate settings are fairly quiet, but if you use the rotation, why wouldn't you, it gets pretty loud with the clicking and churning of the gears and beads.

Just like our furry feline friends the Pearl Panther is not water proof and does not like swimming, bathing, or soaking.

Care and Maintenance

As discussed before the Pearl Panther is made of rubber and therefore porous. It can't be sterilized, but clean with soap and water or a toy wipe - being careful not to get water in the base. This one is a lint magnet so I would suggest a toy bag for storing to protect it and other toys from one another. Water and silicone based lubes are both o.k. for use with this kitty.

  • My Picky Girl Parts vs. Assorted Animals
    • (Sorry for adding to the 700 posts about rabbits, but didn't see any addressing this aspect specifically.)

      I just got this Pearl Panther & could love the basic style if the kitty was within 3 miles of my clit instead of pawing my belly button. Actually had a nice G-spot orgasm with it, though it required some gymnastics, so I'm intrigued. (This is my first "real" rabbit with the beads & such, as opposed to just a dual-stimulator.)

      However, the distance between my vaginal opening & my clit is around 1 1/2 inches. The "hot spot" on all my dual-stimulators is like 2 1/2 to 3" up. A couple I can bend into place or turn around & use with a clit vibe, but it's distracting having to fool with them so much. Mostly they just aren't working for me. I'm up to 5 dual-stim's now & getting rather frustrated! (The Butterfly Kiss is the only thing that has hit the right spot, but it's not what I want otherwise).

      Any other short-distance girls out there with reccomendations? I think I'm going to end up having to go for one of the more pricey rabbits with the billion combinations of functions, but don't want to do so without some clue on the measurements. I'm reading lots of reviews, but nothing is jumping out at me so far. Anything "petite," which might have better proportions, also has a smaller shaft than I prefer.

      So, my picky qualifications for perfection:
      1. Decent girth (5" or so) & somewhat firm (non-jelly if possible)

      2. Beads (A little higher on the shaft than on the Pearl Panther would be good, but not imperative. Also, what do y'all think about the rows of beads vs. the loose ones?)

      3. Vibes as well as whatever beads or waves are in the shaft, so I've still got that option if the beads aren't my thing.

      4. Separate controls for everything.

      Okay, think that covers it. Sorry for the long post, but just getting awfully annoyed with spending quite a bit and not finding what I want. Thanks for the help & patience with my zillion questions!

    • Oh, jeez. That's really unfortunate, because my problem is pretty much the opposite. ...it's a lot of money, but if you ever got the chance to try one of the Jopen toys, like the Vr6, which was mine, you might have more luck. The clit stimulator on the Vr6 was about an inch below my clit when I used it, so maybe you'd have better luck with it.

      .....Jopen is bloody expensive, though, so failing that, you might try the Wild G. It's got a more flexible stimulator.
