The Key collection is a new line of high quality vibrators from Jopen. There's a different texture and pretty color to suit any mood! The Charms are smaller mini sized vibrators in the collection. The Velvet Charm is a soft, curvy, high quality mini vibrator with 5 different vibration settings. It's waterproof, only takes 1 AA battery, and is made of body safe materials. Plus the price is reasonable so just about anyone could purchase a Key without breaking the bank. I'd highly recommend it for beginners looking for a higher quality first time toy. Some of my first toys were just terrible and I definitely wish I would have had this instead. The Velvet Charm is small and pretty enough that it's not intimidating at all. It would be great for couples, yourself, or given out at a bachelorette party.

This vibrator can be used externally for teasing all over the body. It's best use is for clit stimulation but it can also be inserted slightly with care. There's no flared base and it's very small so use extreme caution and hold onto the base very tightly if you choose to use it this way.

Oh sweet soft velvety silicone! This little beauty is called Velvet for a reason. It's so incredibly soft to the touch. It's not specific it just says, "silicone." The vibrator without the sleeve is a black bullet made of ABS plastic and PU cote. Without the silicone sleeve the bullet is soft to the touch because of the velvet cote but not as plush. It's so hard to get the sleeve off so I just unrolled it a little bit to show what's underneath. The cap is ABS with plastic silver plating with a stainless alloy button. All of these materials are very body safe, easy to clean, and high quality. Now when it comes to the color it's a little difficult to describe. The stock photo is a little misleading. The stock photo makes it look like it has a hot pink tint which isn't true at all. I want to call it lavender but it's a shade or two darker than a true pastel lavender color. The flash from my camera makes it appear a little lighter than it really is.



The silicone sleeve has a rippling wave design. It feels how it looks, soft and pretty! I love it! When in use the waves can barely be felt unless you twist it. There's no seams. There's three other textures in the Key Charm collection. There's "plush" that reminds me of quilted pillows, "silk" with a watery veiny looking texture (meh..), and there's "lace" which looked a little too rough for me. Velvet is the epitome of soft and sexy. The moment I laid my eyes on it I was craving it. I'd highly recommend this vibrator for beginners looking for something small and high quality. Advanced users will probably like it as well unless they already have similar silicone toys or prefer more length/girth. In that case you might want to get the larger version called the Jopen Key Vela in Lavender.

I love the softness and curviness of this toy. The Velvet Charm is 3 1/2" in length, not including the alloy button. The silicone sleeve has a gorgeous wave design that's soft to the touch. The waves are just deep enough to be felt if you twist it. The end of the vibrator is rounded. It's less then 1" in width. It's a small vibrator but it has a beautiful design. It's small so if you prefer larger toys then this probably isn' going to impress you much even though it's so pretty.

It's small enough that it can easily be hidden. It's also small enough for travel! It's obviously a vibrator so it's not that discreet but due to it's small size you can hide it almost anywhere.

The button is a metal alloy. It's shiny and silver with the word, "KEY" on it. To cycle through the 5 different vibrations settings you simply push the button. Easy!

The Velvet Charm is waterproof so you can take it with you in the shower or tub. I haven't completely submersed the toy in water so I can't say if the claims are 100% true. I've rinsed it under the sink many times and haven't had any problems.

Inserting the battery can be a bit of a pain if you don't know what you're doing when you first get it. I found it easiest to unroll the silicone sleeve just enough to uncover the cap. Then unscrew the cap, insert the battery plus side down, then push/turn the cap back on. It's really easy once you've done it the first time.

There's 5 different vibration settings:
1. Continuous, steady, medium strength vibration.
2. Constant pulse, "machine-gun mode!"
3. A low vibration that gradually increases to a high vibration, repeats.
4. Pulse.
5. Pulse! Pulse!, the with three quick small bursts, repeats.

After the 5th vibraton setting, if you push the button again it'll go back to the 1st. It won't turn off until you hold the button down for 3 seconds.

The vibrations are strongest at the tip of he vibrator. This works well for pinpoint stimulation on the clit, nipples, or anywhere externally on the body. It's a great teaser to get you warmed up.

The vibrations are what you would expect from a small vibrator that only takes 1 AA battery. I'd rate the vibrations a solid 3/5. It's not enough to send me over the edge quickly but it's possible with time. To me this is more of a warm up. It's weaker than my bnaughty bullet (which is my favorite bullet!) so it was disappointing that it didn't live up to that expectation. The vibrations would be best for beginners or sensitive users. If you're looking for a vibrator to use with a partner this would be a good choice because it's not that intense but it's just enough to send you over the edge during sex. Overall, the vibrations are just ok. If you were expecting something amazingly powerful you'll be disappointed.

The vibrations are so quiet that if you're underneath a blanket no one will hear it, not even you! I have a humidifier in my room plus the ac and when I use it underneath the blankets I can't even hear it myself. You definitely wouldn't be able to hear this through walls. If you don't have anything running at all you might be able to hear it yourself but it really is whisper quiet like it claims to be.

To turn the vibrator off, press and hold the button for 3 seconds. Unfortunately, you can't turn the vibrator off instantly. If someone walks in on you while you're using it there will be a full 3 seconds of surprise before it finally shuts off. If you live with others this obviously isn't ideal! But it's so quiet you might be able to sneakily turn it off.

The Velvet Charm is really easy to clean. Washing it only takes a few minutes. The sleeve by itself is made of silicone so it can be sanitized. If you share toys or need the sleeve to be 100% sanitized you can either boil it in water or run it through a dishwasher. If you want to clean it the easy way (like me!) then just hand wash it in the sink with warm water and hand soap or toy cleaner. The toy itself is made of plastic and contains the motor so you can only wash it by hand. The good thing is that it's waterproof so cleaning it is a breeze. Wash it under warm water with a mild hand soap or toy cleaner and then let it air dry. I keep the silicone sleeve on at all times and don't even take it off when I wash the Velvet Charm. I wash mine in the sink under warm water and I use toy cleaner. Then I let it air dry on a towel.

I store the Velvet Charm in it's original box. I always store all my toys without batteries so the batteries don't drain or corrode and ruin the battery compartment. It's a good idea to take the battery out when not in use. It'll make the vibrator and the battery last longer.

The sleeve is silicone so don't use it with silicone lube! Silicone + silicone = don't do it! It can cause a chemical reaction and melt or warp the sleeve. Use water based lube. There's a brief warning on the insert that comes with the toy about only using water based lube although it doesn't go into much detail. At least it says something about it because many people might not know that information. You'll also want to store the toy seperately from other silicone toys so they don't touch. Keep the Velvet Charm in the box or in the bag it came with. Overall, it's a low maintenance toy.

The Key Charms Velvet has beautiful packaging! The box is pretty enough to give as a gift all by itself or to keep as toy storage. The box slides open when pulling the top and bottom apart. The box has a flap that flips open revealing the velvet charm inside. Inside the box there is a foam indentation where the velvet charm is beautifuly displayed. There's a small plastic sleeve that contains information and a small folded up drawstring bag for storage. There's information all over the box itself plus you get inserts to read so it's very informative. When the box is closed there's a satiny loop at the top. I imagine this is for a retail setting to hang up for display. It's the little extras like this that really make me happy! I can't stress enough what a nice gift this would be for yourself or someone you love.

The drawstring bag is "like satin" in that it's black and shiny. It feels very cheap and kind of rough. It has almost a waxy type feeling to it so it's not that luxurious feeling at all. I'd compare it to a super cheap lingerie chemise claiming that it's silky or satiny. It's nice that a bag was included but it's just ok. In my experience with silicone being a lint magnet maybe a bag like this could be beneficial but I would have rather had a higher quality satin bag. I'm not going to use it for storage because I prefer the box. If you plan on traveling with the velvet charm the bag could definitely be useful though.

The Velvet Charm also comes with a 1 year warranty!

I hope that Edenfantasys sells the other silicone sleeves separately if possible. I love the texture and softness of this toy so much that now I'm tempted to save up for the Key Vela. The only thing I'm concernced about is the strength of the vibrations. The Key Vela takes more batteries so it's probably stronger than the Velvet Charm so in that sense maybe it's worth the higher price. It's definitely something to think about. I would have to read some reviews first though before I'd seriously consider spending that much.
