G4 tiger - g-spot and clitoral vibrator by Fun Factory - review by Waterfall

The G4 Tiger by Fun Factory is rechargeable silicone vibrator that has different uses. It has a little curve so it can be used to stimulate the g-spot and it can also be used to rub on the clitoris, nipples, or balls for more fun. It is also designed to work for dual stimulation (for those who are ok with inserting it deep). Although it does not have a significant base, I think with a firm grip (and the help of the little protrusion) this one can also be used for anal play.

The shaft of the Tiger is made of 100% silicone and is non porous and doesn't have any chemicals to cause a nasty smell or taste. Silicone rates a 10 on Eden's material scale and this is great in my book because I tend to avoid toys that are not made with safer materials. This silicone has some give to it and is also somewhat flexible. This was not a problem for me during use, but some may want a firmer toy. It has a velvety finish that kind of feels a little bit matte so lube is needed to take care of the drag. The silicone also collects a fair amount of lint.

All the way up the shaft there are little ridges, kind of like stripes on a tiger (that is how I am assuming they came up with the name for this one). These ridges provide a bit of extra stimulation, but due to the give of the material, they are not uncomfortable and should be fine for all users as long as you don't absolutely hate texture and use lube.

The G4 Tiger has a shaft with ridge-like textures that go down all the way to the clitoral arm (where there are also a few ridges). The shaft is slightly curved and can easily reach my g-spot. The head makes g-spot stimulation even better because it has a thicker ridge than the ones seen on the rest of the shaft. Overall this shape works so well for me that I get great stimulation without even turning it on! At the end of the shaft is the loop-handle which is easy to hold and direct the stimulation during use.

One of the things related to the size that I like about the Tiger is that it fills me up and I can thrust pretty deep. It has an insertable length of about 6 inches and a diameter of 1.5 inches (circumference of 4.75 inches). This longer length may make it harder for people to enjoy the dual stimulation that is possible through the protrusion that is designed to reach the clit. As someone who enjoys having a toy pretty deep inside me , on occasion, I was able to enjoy some dual stimulation. I think the length and girth of this might be a little large for those who have never used an insertable toy, but with some warm up it shouldn't be a problem.

The size of this one makes it a little harder to hide if someone were to walk in on you and you needed to pretend you were being good. Also, anyone who stumbles across it will see the buttons and the shape and know what kind of fun you have been having.

The Tiger is controlled by the buttons that are placed on the loop handle. To turn the vibrations on, hold down the + button for a few seconds. I found the buttons to be a bit hard to press at times, and it was easier if I used my nails to get enough pressure. Because the buttons are in the same place that you hold the toy during use, it is easy to reach them and control things during play.

The vibrations start out low and rumbly. To increase the speed, push the + button until you reach your desired level. There are a total of six speeds. I find that I like the third and fourth levels, and that I only need the fifth and sixth when I want to orgasm quickly or when I want to do so without moving the Tiger around as much. In addition to the six levels of steady vibrations there are four patterns (which can be used on any level)that are controlled with the * button: one is similar to a very fast jackhammer, the second is fast pulsing, the third is a fast type of escalating pattern, and the fourth is an escalation type that seems to increase in speed as it goes. The jackhammer one is interesting and very strong, but it feels great on my g-spot and on my clit on lower levels. To get out of the patterns hit the - button. One thing to note is that you can access all the patterns on different levels but you must already be on the speed you want before you hit the pattern button.

One of my favorite things about the Tiger is that it is rechargeable! It is part of the Click N Charge line and to charge it you attach the magnetic Fun Factory charger to the logo. This is my first from this line and I heard other reviewers discuss how getting it to stay can be a challenge. I guess I didn't pay close enough attention to this, but YES it can be a pain in the butt to get this lined up right and then make sure it stays so it can properly charge. The red light shows when it is charging.It takes 6 hours to charge fully the first time and ever since then I make sure I charge it after every 2-3 uses, so it doesn't take as long. I do this because the instructions say that the charge will last about 30 minutes on high and longer on the lower settings. I really do wish this one lasted longer so I didn't need to mess with the charger so often, but I love my Tiger so much that I will put up with it.

I found the Tiger to be pretty quiet for the amount of power it packs. You can hear it through the covers, but not a closed door and it is even more quiet when it is inside of me so I have no problems with the noise level. The Tiger is completely waterproof, due to the click n charge technology, so it is safe for bath and shower play. I submerged mine in the sink and there were no problems.

Being silicone and waterproof the Tiger is easy to clean. I clean mine with antibacterial soap and water or toy cleaner. If you need to sterilize it for sharing, then wiping it down with a 10% bleach solution is the best idea, you can't boil it without ruining the mechanism inside.

Silicone toys should be used ONLY with water based lubes to prevent any unwanted damage to the material's surface which would then make the toy unsafe to use.

Because the silicone of the Tiger picks up a lot of lint (and I have a dark color where I can really see it), I keep it in a big Ziploc bag. That keeps it clean and ready for the next use.

This comes in the typical Fun Factory packaging, that features the magnetic flaps that open and show the toy and also give some information. Inside this box the Tiger sits in a molded plastic box. This does not make good storage because it is a bit of a pain to have to open and close it. It also comes with a sample of Toy Fluid, Fun Factory's water based lube, instructions, and a pamphlet with other products on it. The charger comes in a separate smaller box and it also comes with a second set of instructions which is good to have if you lose one. It would be nice as a gift box because it is pretty classy packaging even if you can see the toy.

The G4 Tiger exceeded my expectations in regards to how well the shape worked for me and how strong and rumbly the vibrations were. My g-spot was very happy with this one and even though the shaft has some flex to it, I was able to apply firm enough pressure and enjoy the deep vibrations. Although I use this mostly for g-spot stimulation I also used it on my clit and that was also very enjoyable. I highly recommend this vibe and I love it so much that I definitely know I need to try another design from this line sometime in the future.
