Perfectly hot pink - traditional vibrator discontinued by Topco Sales - review by Not Here Anymore f/k/a Happy Lady

I chose the Perfectly Hot Pink by using the filters in the vibrators section of Edenfantasys and picking the largest vibe in my price range made of acceptable materials (NO Jelly.) My other toys are average girth and I wanted a standard vibe that filled me up.

The Pink is a long hard plastic vibrator covered with TPR Silicone. The surface is a softer material, but the toy is very hard and not at all flexible. The hard vibrator is the length of the Pink, stopping just below the head. It has no give to it at all, which can lead to injury if you are not accustomed to that. The head is soft, but that's it.

TPR Silicone cannot be sterilized, so if you share the Pink you need to use condoms. To clean, use hot water and soap or a toy cleaner. Stick to a water-based lube for the Perfectly Hot Pink. It has a silicone component which could react with a silicone lube, causing damage to the toy.

The Perfectly Hot Pink is indeed very hot pink, which I love, but some may not. It has a very smooth and sleek texture, with exaggerated ridges and veins and a well-defined head. You need to be diligent when cleaning the Pink because the crevices tend to fill with sex juice that stays there unless you specifically use your finger or a q-tip to clean it out.

The package states (the Pink is) “CyberSilicone porosity-free surface inhibits the existence of bacteria and foreign particles” and “phthalate free & latex free.” It has a slight smell, the same smell it had when it came out of the package, even after at many cleanings. This is my first experience with TPR Silicone so I don't know if it is supposed to have that smell or not. The smell is definitely less than Jelly and not at all like chemicals. It's more a sweet plastic smell.

The Perfectly Hot Pink is waterproof. I have tested it in the shower several times and have submerged it in a sink of water, holding it there for a few minutes. The battery cap has a rubber O-ring which seals the battery compartment well from water.

The Pink uses 2 AA batteries. To insert the batteries you unscrew the bottom cap, slide the batteries in, and replace the cap. Quite simple. It is very powerful, yet does not drain batteries quickly – even with extended use.

The packing of the Perfectly Hot Pink is just a hard plastic molded case that pops open on the top. There is a picture of a young woman on the package, but thankfully she's just standing there without pretending to writhe with pleasure. Although the construction of the package is cheap, the printed material on the package is actually noteworthy. It instructs you to “Secure the rubber O-ring & twist cap securely before use; If rubber O-ring is missing or broken, the vibe is no longer safe to use in water; Remove batteries when not in use; For maximum pleasure, use lubricant with this product; and Wash after each use with liquid anti-bacterial soap and water.” The package also boasts a 30-day manufacturing defect warranty. This is the first package I've seen with actual useful instructions.

I was pleasantly surprised by the strength of the vibrations from the Pink. The vibrations are controlled by a dial on the top of the battery cap. The control dial has groves which help to turn and hold it when your hands get slippery. If you tightly screw on the battery cap you will prevent accidentally losing power during play because it has unscrewed while using the vibrating control. I count 9 distinct levels of vibration from the Pink, ranging from barely noticeable to stronger than any other toy I have experienced. (Please note I have not tried the Hitachi at the time of this review, but I do have the Xtreme G-spot bullet and the Pink is stronger than the Xtreme's highest setting.) The vibrations are concentrated just below the head, but radiate the length of the Pink and are also well transmitted through the head. I gave it a 4 "vroom" rating because I know there are more powerful vibes out there.

The Pink is noisy. I can hear it on the 3 highest vibration settings, it under covers from the hallway with the bedroom door closed. On the highest setting it sometimes has a rather unpleasant rattling sound.

The Perfectly Hot Pink is 6.5 inches insertable, rather than 7 ¼ as on the product description. The head is 4.5 inches around, the shaft gradually widening to just under 5 ¼ inches at the base - a little smaller than the description states.

Even with the noise level, the length is my only real complaint about the Pink. I wish it were just a little longer so there is more to hold on to while thrusting. It is somewhat distracting to hold on to the very bottom or the control knob to thrust.

You shouldn't use this toy for anal play because it has no base at all. It is very slippery and hard enough to hold on to when lubed, so I cannot imagine trying to use it anally and being able to safely hold on to it.

Experience:
In the 2 weeks I've had the Perfectly Hot Pink, I have used it around 20 times. Seriously. I've been using it twice a day, sometimes more. I have yet to masturbate without using it since it arrived.

The first time I used the Pink I made myself bleed a little bit. I didn't warm up enough for it and didn't use enough lube (water-based.) This is first toy I've had that has really no “give” to it. It is very hard and I just wasn't prepared for it. (I know, I need to get some glass, metal, etc... I'm working on it!)

I have to be careful because my cervix is slightly tilted and I have an IUD. One note about IUDs: if you have one you need to be careful thrusting against your cervix. You can dislodge and/or move the IUD around which is very painful and requires a doctor's visit to correct. Please pay attention to that detail if you are using a toy on a partner. (Speaking from experience here.)

I've had a little trouble using the Pink in the shower because the water keeps washing off the water-base lube. That little detail isn't stopping me from taking it into the shower pretty much every time I can.

I also had a male partner use the Pink on me. There were lots of comments about the size of it, but he still greatly enjoyed using it on me. It's like he was proud of me for being able to “take it.” It was hot. Really. Very. Hot. I'm not so sure a male who is not accustomed to using toys on a female or who is otherwise intimidated by toys would like the Pink. It has a very pink commanding presence.

I was looking for a vibe that could fill me up enough for g-spot orgasm, and the Perfectly Hot Pink does it well. It feels amazing to thrust with it. When thrusting I can feel the head ridges stimulating my g-spot. I am able to have incredible g-spot orgasms complete with squirting every time I use the Pink.

The Pink's vibrations are also nice on my clit. They are strong enough that I have had orgasms from just clitoral stimulation using the Pink alone.

The Perfectly Hot Pink is now my go-to vibe. It is powerful, filling and just wonderful. I recommend this to people looking for a bigger, harder experience with a realistic vibrator that isn't jelly or rubber.

Have I mentioned lately how much I still love the Pink? Seriously. Our affair continues: consistent and strong.

It is still loud, but hasn't gotten any louder. It is also still waterproof - and I've tested that many, many times. The Pink is also still as strong as it was brand new.

I've had the opportunity to try several other vibrators and dildos since I first reviewed the Pink, and it still stands up high on my list. Beyond the wonderfully strong vibrations, what keeps me coming back (hahaha) is its firm girth. I use this both as a vibrator and a just as a dildo. It fills me up, without leaving me feeling too stretched. I also use it on my clit quite frequently.
