I consider the Pocket Rocket to be a "classic" vibrator, which is why I initially wasn't interested in owning one. With so many other awesome, more advanced toys out there, why would something so simple interest me? As it turns out, simple can sometimes be a good thing -- a very good thing.

The iVibe Pocket Rocket is available in several colors, but I opted for blue, simply because toys in this particular shade of blue are hard to come by. The shaft of the toy is slightly transluscent, and is topped with a mostly opaque white cap, upon which three metal ball-style nubs protrude. Over the top is a clear cap with several small nubs -- it's through these nubs that vibrations are transmitted. The entire toy is made out of hard plastic, which is nice in terms of material safety, ease of cleaning, and compatibility with lubricants (should you desire to use any). The iVibe Pocket Rocket is not waterproof or even splashproof, so take care when cleaning.

In terms of vibrations, the iVibe Pocket Rocket has two settings: OFF and ON. But ON is most definitely more than enough for me, and since I'm the type of chick that needs strong, consistent and deep, thrummy vibrations in order to have an orgasm, if you too own a clitoris of steel you'll be quite happy with the type of vibrations that the iVibe Pocket Rocket has to offer.

Powering the vibrations is a single AA battery, which is quite impressive considering that the vibrations the Pocket Rocket kicks out are similar to the ones other toys that run on two or more AA batteries produce.

The iVibe Pocket Rocket is just four inches in length and one inch around, so it's great for discreet pleasure or travel. If you do travel with it, I'd recommend taking the batteries out, as it doesn't seem too difficult to switch from OFF to ON -- I don't think you want to have to explain a vibrating bag or suitcase to family members, strangers, or worse yet, airport security!
