Multispeed basic vibrating bullet - bullet discontinued by EdenFantasys - review by IndependentlyHappy

The EdenFantasys bullet can be used for clitoral stimulation or on any sensitive area of your or your partner’s body that calls for strong vibrations. I would not recommend using the bullet for insertion since lube or fluids could get inside the opening at the base of the bullet. I would also be concerned about the cord separating from the bullet and causing it to get lost inside you if you inserted it anally; although the cord seems secure enough, I wouldn’t trust it to keep me from an embarrassing ER visit.

The bullet portion of this toy is made of a shiny metal (I'm not sure what type). The cord is coated in some sort of vinyl plastic, and the remote is made of a hard, matte plastic. I could not detect any sort of metallic or other smell coming off of the bullet nor did the cord or plastic remote smell like anything.

The bullet has a smooth texture with a seam running horizontally across its center that should not affect the toy when in use. The remote has a bit of a rough texture since its plastic which should make it easier to maintain control of in the heat of the moment since it'd be less likely to slip out of a hand.

The bullet itself is about 2” in length and 0.75” in diameter. The cord comes pre-wrapped in a little plastic twist-tie-looking thing. When fully extended, the cord is about 31” in total length. The controller is purple with the EdenFantasys logo printed on it and is about 4.5” in length. It is a good size to fit comfortably in the palm of your hand during use on yourself or a partner.

The plastic of the remote is an attractive purple color and seems reasonably well made especially considering Eden’s low asking price for this toy. The cord is clear and coated in some sort of vinyl plastic, and the bullet is shiny and eye-catching enough to potentially not be discreet if this were placed in a carry-on bag. I noticed that, upon taking my bullet out of the packaging, there were already some minor scratches in the metal, but they didn’t (and shouldn’t) affect the function of the toy itself.

While this toy is too small for insertion and probably lacks a strong enough cord to be viable for that purpose (I would not recommend relying on it for retrieval if the bullet were to disappear inside of an orifice), it is great for stimulating pretty much any area of the body that might need it. It’d be great for couples to use during sex since the small shape of the bullet would likely fit over the woman’s clitoris without getting in the way of penetration and would fit between two bodies as well.

The controls are self-explanatory: there is one switch on the side of the remote that enables you to control the speed from low to high. Inside the battery compartment, there is a piece of paper with instructions for how to open it (which seems redundant) and insert the two “AA” batteries that this toy takes. The battery configuration is also imprinted into the plastic on the inside of the compartment, so you really don’t need to keep this piece of paper. I threw mine away once I installed the batteries for the first time.

At this point, I got a nice little scare: I didn’t realize that the switch was in the “on” position when I put the batteries in, and the little bullet started buzzing and vibrating across my kitchen table as soon as I inserted the second battery (before I had a chance to close the compartment). This bullet is STRONG and packs a punch with those two “AA”s! The “low” setting is probably equivalent to the medium or high setting on one of my hard plastic vibes. The high setting sounded and felt like a jet engine taking off!

I turned this vibe all the way up and put it under my sheets and my pillow, but I could still clearly hear it and the muffling effect of the material made it sound as though someone was running a leaf blower or power tool from some distance away outside of my window. It’s far and away the most powerful toy that I have in my collection. In any case, I wouldn’t call this toy discreet because of how loud it is; your neighbor would likely hear it in the next room from behind a closed door and wonder what the sound was.

Since plastic and metal are both non-porous materials, it is fairly easy to clean them with soap and water. However, you should also take some extra care when you are cleaning this definitely non-waterproof toy. Not only would water likely seep into the bullet itself, it would also fry the remote since it isn’t sealed tightly, and there are many little nooks and crannies where liquid could enter.

However, I found that cleanup was fairly easy; I simply wiped away the little bit of lube that I put on the bullet’s tip and rinsed it with soap and warm water. I was initially nervous about cleaning this toy because of the fact that there’s a noticeable opening where the cord connects with the bullet, and I was afraid that I would accidentally get water inside. However, I carefully splashed water onto the bullet as needed and managed to avoid such a mishap. I also am currently storing this toy in its original plastic baggie although there is probably no need as this hard plastic is inert and unlikely to react with other toy materials in storage.

The EdenFantasys bullet comes in minimal packaging: just a clear, plastic baggie with “EdenFantasys Multispeed Basic Vibrating Bullet” printed on the outside. No instructions, warnings, etc. are included with the product, but it is relatively self-explanatory. Since the bag is a clear plastic, the contents are visible and the product is identified in large print on its outside, I would not call this packaging discreet in any way. It's probably also a bit flimsy for it to be a good permanent storage container for the toy.

When I saw and heard how powerful this little bullet is, part of me thought, “there’s no WAY I’m putting this on my clit”, but I decided to keep an open mind. I started on the lowest setting and slowly worked my way up, and the vibrations were strong enough that I started to feel them in my hand as much as in my clit after a while. Due to this, I found that it eventually became easier to put the bullet between my thighs/labia and hold it there that way instead of numbing my fingers. The strong vibrations of the higher settings were a bit TOO strong for me, and I squealed and almost pulled the toy away the first time that I tried it on the highest configuration. I definitely preferred one of the more moderate settings to this very intense one.

Based on my experience, I agree with my earlier assessment that this toy would be great for couples to use during sex. The bullet is small and convenient enough to be held in the palm of a hand while the remote sits a couple of feet away on the bed. I actually can’t wait until I can try using this toy this way (read: when I have a regular partner) since it’ll definitely be more interesting and fun than just using the toy by myself although I pretty thoroughly enjoyed my present experience as well.
