Upon receiving Thumbelina vibrator, my first reaction was that the toy was shaped differently than most vibrators I had seen before. With its bulbous head, thin, nubbed neck, and bee-like clitoral massager, I thought, "finally a vibrator that isn't shaped like a bulky penis!" Not that there is anything wrong with that, but for me personally, I've never used vibrators like that internally, just as clitoral massagers.

Conveniently, Thumbelina vibrator has two different speed controls. One controls the shaft, the other controls the clitoral massager nub and they both provide a lot of power on just four AAA batteries. The shaft twirls around in short circular rotations, while the nub buzzes furiously just like a bee complete with stinger attached at the top. Together, the two pack a powerful punch. The controls slide up and down and are very easy to maneuver, even in the height of ecstasy.

My first time playing with it was with my partner, who I allowed to control the action. He turned the controls up and slid the shaft inside me. Immediately I loved the smooth feel of the coating and how the shape molded to my body perfectly. With some lubrication, it felt very comfortable sliding in and out. The circular movements weren't too harsh like other vibrators I've used in the past. However, the clitoral massager didn't exactly line up well and I had to press down on it in order to get the stimulation I needed. In the end, it took awhile for me to reach orgasm, but I did enjoy the feel of it inside me.

On subsequent occasions, I masturbated with Thumbelina alone and found it easier to reach orgasm as I got used to playing with her. Still, each time I had to hold the clitoral massager down on my clit in order to get the pressure I wanted. It would benefit from not having the 'stinger' on the end of it, which does little except get in the way.

Some of the drawbacks: it is hard to clean and I found stray hairs and lint sticking to the shaft even after cleaning it with toy cleaner. It is probably not a good toy for travel for this reason and its size (it's about 8 inches long). Thought I didn't try, it is probably not a good toy for anal play, though the head is not so large for that kind of stimulation.

All in all, I had a good time with Thumbelina and look forward to many more with her in the future.
