The Vibrating Tulip 5 Function Egg by Eden toys is for clitoral stimulation, but can also be used on the nipples and other parts of the body that are sensitive to sensory play. The Tulip is made from a rigid and smooth PU coated plastic. On the packaging it states that the toy is silicone, so it's uncertain whether it's actually PU or silicone coated plastic. PU coated plastic rates a seven out of ten on the Eden safety scale and lists itself as being latex and phthalate-free. The toy has no taste or smell when taken out of the packaging, and feels velvety to the touch. The coating on the toy is somewhat porous, so you'll want to refrain from sharing between non-fluid bound partners unless you use a condom. Each time you turn the toy off, it remembers where it was the last time it was turned on, even mid-pulse. The best setting on the toy is the high steady vibration, that delivers a long, drawn out period of vibration that will make the toes curl and the back lift from the bed in joy. However, the vibration does numb after prolonged exposure in the fingers, clitoris, nipples or wherever else you decide to use it. It is a battery guzzler, and after about two hours of use the batteries were clearly losing power. If you're willing to buy the batteries for this toy, it's worth the price point.

The toy was submerged in a bath of water for an extended period of time, and held up without malfunction, thus proving that the waterproof promise on the box is indeed, true. Whilst in the water, the vibrations still held up well, and were still just as powerful as out of the water.

Caring for this toy is quick and simple. You can wipe it down with a toy wipe or toy cleaner, or simply wash it in warm, soapy water. Be sure to use a soft-bristled brush to get into the seams and tip of the toy and be sure to clean it thoroughly. You can also sterilize the toy by using a 5% bleach solution made of 95% water, and 5% bleach. When storing the toy, store it in a cool, dry place and remember to remove the batteries to prevent corrosion.

The box states that the toy should only be used with water-based lubricant. Because of being unsure of the material, I suggest following the suggestion the box.
