Tickled my fancy!

This product is perfect for those looking for something on the larger side, without the larger price tag. Its very easy to take care of and won't wake the neighbors when you turn it on. It can be tucked away in a secret spot, but preferably in a spot small hands or prying roommates don't normally look. For those who are smaller I wouldn't suggest this just yet, as it might be difficult to fit. Its a perfect toy for beginners and experienced users alike!

Use

The Tidal Wave has got to be one of my favorite toys so far. It has the perfect girth for those who are looking for something a little larger then normal, but not to big. There are an adequate number of ridges, but not to many it hurts. (Had a few of those!) If you're still a little tight, it takes a couple drops of lube on your warm parts and on the head to slip it in, but after that its smooth sailing. The testicles are somewhat small, but it makes a great place to put your hands.

I was a little tentative at first, when dialing the vibrations up, even on the lowest setting I found it hard to contain myself. I still can't seem to get it all the way, at least without fear of disturbing the neighbors!

Material / Texture

Although the 'Wave' does have a bit of a 'grip' to its texture, its nothing a little lubrication can't fix. I use a water based lubricant, which doesn't seem to hurt the toy at all. There is however a small mark on the top of the head which seems to be a product of the manufacturing process. Bodily fluids and lubricant can get caught there, but is easy enough to wash away. Being that this toy is jelly, I advise wearing a condom if you are going to share it.

Design / Shape / Size

Although it was a little difficult to get in the first couple times because of the size of the head, I soon realized that using some lubrication on my lips or the head quickly alleviated that problem. Being a larger toy, its not something I would suggesting packing on a family trip, or tucked into a purse to be used at work. I keep mine in a nook in my headboard, which can be hidden from the public eye. It does have a tendency to suction itself to the sides of your warm spot, making extraction difficult if you tense up. Not to say it gets stuck, it just has this awesome way of building up suction! That said, it is around 8 inches long, and 2 1/2 inches at the base of the shaft. Being that it so long, I would suggest putting it in a 'toy box' like I do, under a sink or some where safe. I would also like to suggest though, that if it were to be stored in the open, to clean it before use. The material has a tendency to grab ANYTHING, dust particles included. Again, simple soap and water can clean it off.

Functions / Performance / Controls

Being a jelly dong the vibrations pulse all throughout. Its so easy to switch between setting, no complicated buttons or excessive number of knobs. Although I wouldn't use it if there was a family member in the room, it is a rather quiet toy.

Care and Maintenance

This has to be one of the easiest toys I have had in terms of maintenance. Simply washing it with soap and warm water keep it clean and foul odor free. There is a small mark on the tip of the head that seems to be a product of manufacturing that likes to collect bodily fluids and lubricant. This is simply washed away when you wash your toy off after use. Since the texture does love to 'grab' thing, its best to keep it in a place that won't easily collect dust or other particles, as you'll end up cleaning before AND after each use.

We've measured it to be around 8 inches long and about 2 1/2 inches at the base. It tapers slightly as you move towards the head, but all in all is a larger sized toy. Although I have never shared this toy, if you were to play with someone else, I would highly recommend taking the appropriate sanitary precautions. I store mine along with several other toys, lubricants and other naughty things, and haven't come across any problems. Just make sure it is in a dust free environment, as is does LOVE to collect little dust particles and other things floating around it! Let me know if I missed anything else!

However, my question is for people out there, Jelly material has a low safety rating, everytime i use it, i was it in warm soapy water and rinse off before actually using it. Then when im done using it, i also again wash it in warm soapy water. Do i really have anything to worry about as far as bacteria etc? Since the material safety is low.

      The problem with Jelly is not only bacterias, it is the material components what makes it not safe for the body.

      Jelly have phthalates, you can search that to get more information. Silicone is the only flexible material that you can use without worry about.
    • You can't safely share jelly, or use it anally. And in my experience jelly toys don't last long. I have never had an issue using jelly toys, but I don't buy them anymore because I've found they just don't last. I honestly don't think you have anything to worry about, unless your body is sensitive to the material. But, that's just me, and keep in mind I don't use them. :)
