Tinkerbell's one kinky fairy!
This little fairy is definitely worth the price, small and compact it gives some intense buzzing vibrations! Fun for solo or couples play!Published: July 17, 2010
Pros:
small, powerful, rechargeable, cute
Cons:
port for charger is slightly difficult
Even the name "pocket fairy" evokes images of a tiny, dainty little thing. Tiny is one word I would use to describe this toy, but dainty is not! This vibrator is a powerhouse in a small package.
The pocket fairy came as a 2-part kit with the charger in a separate box. This is due to the pocket fairy also being USB compatible and a separate USB charger is available with some versions. Mine came with an adapter that plugs in, meaning no batteries for this fairy! The pocket fairy charges through the adapter which turns the base blue while charging, no mistake there! There is a little rubber piece that you take out of the plug port to connect the charger, and this can be replaced to keep the port closed during play. I did find that mine seemed difficult to plug in and take out of the port and I was a little careful to make sure I didn't damage it. It just didn't seem as easy as other plug in ports on rechargeable toys.
The pocket fairy should be called a "pocket demon" instead. The fairy is just under 6 inches with a "hitachi" style bulb head made of rubber-like material and the connection between the plastic base and the bulb head is a bendy region also rubber covered. The plastic base and handle are white, like the rest of the toy with a cute illustration of a pink fairy and stars along with the word "Fairy" near the top in matching pink text. The slide button does not have any text at all, but starts in the off position at the bottom and the high intensity to the top of the slide.
The sound of the fairy is a bit louder than my other toys, but easily masked behind a closed door and some covers! Settings go from low to high with a slide style button. The low is similar to the high on most of my bullets! This might make the fairy a little too intense for some beginners, but placed over lingerie would dull the intensity enough. Needless to say I don't last long with this toy.
Care and cleaning is simple since overall the fairy should be used externally. Just a little soap and water on the bulb, but keep the toy from being immersed as it is not waterproof, even with the rubber piece covering the recharging port. The only issue I have with the bendy region is that the ridges can collect lint and make them a little harder to clean. The bulbed head is similar with the series of five indents that make ridges and thus may pose a challenge, some fast running water over just the bulb should do the trick.
This can be a great couples toy. It's not going to be able to massage an aching calf, but it's perfect for teasing and foreplay. It's tiny size also makes it easy to use during penetration as it won't get in the way but can still stimulate the clitoris. The vibrations are strong enough to give the "penetrator" some enjoyment as well.
The fairy makes a great purse compatible toy as it can easily fit into a pocket, but be careful as it doesn't have a lock for the slide button and could turn on. The wrist strap makes a good addition and can be easily removed for clean-up. Just in case you get a little too involved, you won't toss your fairy across the room like a Wii remote! The strap is matching white with pink text including the mediacraft url.

Experience
This toy easily takes me from 0-100 in a matter of moments, it's almost too quick and efficient! It had added to my "quicky" toys get in a fast and intense orgasm before sleep. But I can't wait to play with my partner using this toy as well. I think using the low setting while giving a blowjob would be excellent!

Fairy Mini VS. Pocket Fairy?
-
Does the Pocket work as well as the Mini? I LOVE MY MINI but its sadly very hard to hide and or pack.
Does anyone know if the Pocket packs the same punch?

Which should I buy?
-
I love this one plus the Hitachi wand and I am torn which one to buy. I love the Hitachi items and the variety. I love that this one is cordless. The price is not a huge difference and wanted some other opinions. Which one lasts longer & which do you have?
-
I prefer the Hitachi because he vibrations are deeper and more thuddy than the Fairy. And, Hitachi has been a household name since the 70s. If it didn't work, they wouldn't still be so well loved.

I don't have the pocket fairy, and I do have hitachi, and I don't really like its buzzy vibes.

Generally, this toy seems to be pretty thrilling for everyone but has some mixed reviews on the type of vibrations. How "buzzy" is this toy or is it more "throbby?" Would the buzz be more similar to a bullet or other massager wands?

Oh, I have to have it. Awesome review! Thank you.

Thank you for viewing Pocket fairy – vibrator review page!

Excellent review, student!
I like its compact size. I have one of the original Hitachi massage devices and it's like a club! This looks like it would be great for clitoral stimulation. Great review!
Great review! I'm looking for something to replace my favorite quickie toy that's on its last days.
I love this, but I hate that it's more expensive than the other Fairy massagers! Great review!
Great review!
lol these things scare the crap out of me because of their power, but I'm still curious. I'm sure I'll eventually have to get one just to satisfy the itch. thanks for the review!
I want this soooo much! I have the Fairy Miniature and love it...but completely wire free? sounds awesome!
Great review! I've been dying to try this one.
Although I seriously enjoy my Hitachi, I think I would like this as much, maybe more. Thanks for the info and great review.
Great review!
So the USB can be attached to a converter to plug into the outlet rather than charge via USB? If so, that's awesome and versatile!
Great review
Thanks!
