With the Shots Ripple, you triple your pleasure and triple your fun! The silicone Ripple provides vaginal and anal stimulation while the 10-speed bullet tantalizes your clitoris. This toy could be a good choice if you want to explore triple stimulation, provided you're a fan of a bit of texture. With some good lube and a bit of warmup, you could be rocking yourself to ecstasy with this toy. Overall, it's well designed and pretty easy to use while playing solo or with a partner.

The Ripple stimulator is made of matte silicone, which is firm when squeezed and flexible when bent. The small anal stimulator is particularly floppy since it's so thin where it connects to the Ripple's handle. On the inside of the curve, the larger insertable portion has ten ridges that get thinner and somewhat more pronounced as you approach the base. The anal stimulator has ridges along one side as well. There's a seam visible along the toy, but it shouldn't be felt during use. The plastic bullet has a velvet cote and is almost silky to touch.

The Ripple is designed to be used as a triple stimulator to provide clitoral, vaginal, and anal stimulation. The larger insertable portion can also be used anally, with the bullet vibe stimulating the perineum. The Ripple's peanut-shaped handle has enough room for two to four fingers, depending on your hand size. It provides decent control over all aspects of the toy, but some users may wish it were stiffer.

The ripples along both insertable portions are noticeable but not overwhelming during use. The larger insertable portion is slightly curved, and the curve along with the ripples provide good g-spot stimulation. The anal stimulator is narrow (under 3/4” diameter), fairly short, and very flexible. The Ripple comes with a 10-speed bullet that provides strong vibrations and fits into the small ring near the base of the toy. However, the included bullet is quite strong and provides many more levels and patterns than basic bullets. Check out the ten modes:

3. High steady, shallower vibrations, but not that buzzy
4. Fast pulse (about six pulses per second)
5. Long and short pulse pattern: ZZ-z-z-z-z-ZZ-z-z-z-z (repeating)
6. Six vibration steps, walking up then down (123456654321123456...)
7. Eight vibration steps, double pulse at each step, increasing (112233445566778811223344...)
8. Pulses, starting slow then getting faster and a bit deeper, escalating (repeating)
9. Steady, nine somewhat slow pulses (repeating)
10. Steady for a couple seconds, then fast pulses for several seconds, then back to steady (repeating)

When the bullet is inserted, the vibrations will travel through the entire toy and provide some internal stimulation. However, the bullet offers much more power as a clitoral or other external stimulator.

Since this is a silicone stimulator, it shouldn't be used with silicone lubricant. Instead, use your favorite water-based lubricant during use. And don't worry about the bullet—it's waterproof and compatible with all lubricants. The Ripple (including the bullet) can be cleaned with soap and water, toy cleaner, or wipes, and care should be taken to clean between its ridges. You can also sterilize this toy by boiling it in water for three minutes or wiping it down with a 10% bleach solution. Just don't boil the bullet!

The Ripple comes packaged in a white cardboard box that has a window in the front. The stimulator and bullet are encased in a clear plastic clamshell inside the box. The box itself has a pleasing, clean design and contains a product summary. There are no pictures on the box aside from pictures of cartoon hands demonstrating ways to hold the Ripple. Inside the packaging is a tiny pamphlet showcasing other Shots Toys products and warranty registration information for your toy. All parts of the packaging are recyclable.

The Ripple is my first triple stimulation toy, and I'll admit I was a little hesitant about the texture before I saw it in person. When it arrived, I felt much more comfortable with it because it isn't intimidating size-wise, and the ripples aren't super stiff. I immediately loved it during use. The Ripple's ripples provide just enough texture for me to feel, but not so much that I have to coat the entire toy in lube before using it.

I absolutely love that I can use this toy vaginally without needing to insert the anal stimulator. Don't get me wrong, I love the anal stimulator, too, but sometimes I need a little warm up or just want external anal stimulation. The little anal part is great for that, too. Then when I'm ready I can enjoy the whole toy. I like using subtler motions internally and rocking against a toy, so the Ripple works really well for me.

One aspect of the design that worried me was that the larger insertable part gets wide near the base then tapers suddenly. As it turned out, the widest part felt amazing during orgasm as my body sucked in the toy all the way to the handle. I felt like the Ripple was “locked in” to me, and really fit my body well.

The bullet holder worked fine, and it fit adequately with my anatomy. Still, I'd often take the bullet out and use it separately because I like being able to move the rest of the toy without affecting my clitoral stimulation level.

I really like using the Ripple, and I'd recommend it to anyone wanting to explore triple stimulation.
