Handy massager - pocket rocket by WHK GmbH - review by MissAstarte

I was incredibly excited about this clitoral massager when I first read reviews of it, but I've found it to be less than satisfying. As I've mentioned in my other reviews, I'm new when it comes to using toys. If the vibrations from a vibrator are too strong, I lose arousal and actually start to hurt. This one was just too intense for me. It is also incredibly loud, and I find it difficult to switch between the different cups. The slippery material makes it difficult to grab if you've been using lube, and it's also difficult to pull off.

The material itself is a hard, smooth plastic. I usually find this to be a good material for vibrators, but not in this case. The interchangeable caps become hard to grip if you've been using lube, or if you've gotten wet. Trying to change the caps in the middle of play is incredibly difficult. My hands were unable to get a solid grip and, even when using a cloth, it was still difficult to remove the first cap.

I do find that I like the overall design. It's fairly discreet, rather cute-looking, and can easily be placed in a purse or bag. Size for this toy isn't as big of an issue, since it's meant for clitoral play.

This toy is ridiculously noisy. I was amazed that something so small could be so loud! Unless you're alone in a building, this one is going to be heard. Turning the toy on is fairly simple, one twist and the toy is on. Sadly, there is only one setting, but the different caps will each give a different experience... if you can manage to get the first one off the toy.

The caps can be a little hard to clean because of the ribbed texture. Also be sure to clean underneath the cap, and the surface of the toy without the cap on.

My main issues with this toy have been with the intense nature of the vibrations. If I don't use lube and make sure that I'm alone during use, the problems with the caps and the noise won't be as much of a problem. Hopefully as I begin to play with more toys, I will lose some of my sensitivity. Until then, this one will remain at the bottom of my toy chest.

I still remember the first time I tried this toy out. One of my cats was lounging lazily on the floor. I inserted the batteries, and the following noise was enough to jolt her on all fours and begin to look around in a panicked state.
