Ugly and unpleasant!

The Rocket Bullet does have multiple settings, and I'll admit the shape is pretty cool, but it's just not the bullet for me. The material feels so cheap that it actually makes me feel dirty. Furthermore, I have concerns about the paint that's covering this toy -- it may chip off, and I don't want that in my vagina! When you combine all of that with the fact that this hideous looking toy has unbelievably buzzy vibrations? I just kind of hate this toy!

Use

The Rocket Bullet came to be mine only after it was offered as a free gift. It is not a toy that I would've selected on my own, and now that I have it? I kind of wish I hadn't even picked it up as a free gift. It's just not for me.

That said, someone out there may be able to get pleasure from it. So, I bet you're wondering how you can use this bullet...

This bullet can be used both internally and externally. It's not really long enough, or curved enough, to stimulate my g-spot when used internally, but some people might enjoy the ridges and bumps that make up the length of the toy. Be aware though that this isn't a toy that you're going to really be able to thrust with, because it's too small for that (though it is big for a bullet vibrator).

You can also use the Rocket Bullet to stimulate your clitoris. I, personally, did not enjoy the feel of the material on my clitoris, but that doesn't mean that you won't. It could also potentially be used to stimulate the genitals of a male partner, though my male partner said that he found this to be irritating rather than pleasurable.

As for anal use? Don't use this one anally! It's big for a bullet, but it's still not large enough to safely insert inside of your bum. Furthermore, there is no flared base on this toy, so... yeah, it's just not safe to use anally!

Material / Texture

The Rocket Bullet is made out of food-grade plastic, which rates as an 8 on Eden's safety scale. Plastic is non-porous, hypoallergenic, and both latex and phthalates free. That being said, I'm skeptical of the safety of this bullet. This is because the bullet appears to be painted with some kind of metallic paint, and I feel like that paint could chip off easily. I don't know about you, but I don't want paint chips inside of me!

I really don't care for the feel of this toy. The bullet itself feels smooth and firm to the touch, but it also feels ridiculously cheap. Honestly, it feels like a cheap Christmas tree ornament You know, one of those little aluminum balls? Good for a tree, not for my vagina.

The controller itself feels much nicer than the rest of the toy. The controller has a sort of velvety soft feeling to it... why couldn't they make the bullet out of the same nice material? The bullet is just... ick! It makes me feel gross when I use it.

Design / Shape / Size

The Rocket Bullet is larger than many other bullets. It measures 5" long, with an insertable length of around 4". It's also about 1 1/4" in diameter at the widest point. The bullet does consist of little ridges and bumps, so it's not all one length. Instead, the bullet starts out thin, and then it sort of gradually increases with each bump/ridge, until it gets to the largest bump at the head.

The size and design would be okay, if only the material were better. The material just feels so cheap that it kind of ruins the entire toy for me.

The bullet is attached to the controller by a non-detachable cord. The controller fits nicely in the palm of my hand, so it's easy to hold onto.

The rocket bullet isn't realistic, but it's not really discreet either. I just can't think of anything else it can be. Still, if you remove the batteries, it should be fine for travel purposes.

Functions / Performance / Controls

To operate this toy, you will need 2 - AA batteries. The AA batteries get inserted into the controller. The toy is turned on by the On/Off button on the controller, and then of course there is the "7" button. The "7" button is what cycles through the various patterns -- and yes, there are 7 different levels of vibration, just as the button would imply.

The first three levels of vibration are steady, consistent vibration levels. Level one is, of course, slower than level three. If you hit the "7" button again, the patterns start. The first pattern feels like an escalating pattern to me. Levels five and 6 are just different speeds of pulsating. Lastly, there's level 7, which just seems to be sort of out of order. Level 7 is a steady, high vibration setting.

The patterns do travel well throughout the entire bullet, but they're incredibly buzzy. They're just too buzzy for me, unfortunately. They're also not very high, earning only around 3 vrooms on the highest setting. The toy is fairly loud though -- I'd give it 3 bees.

Care and Maintenance

If you find that you require lubricant with this toy, you can use any kind of lube. Silicone, oil, or water-based... it's all safe to use with this one!

As for cleaning? You can wash it with warm water and antibacterial soap. You can also use a toy cleaner, or wipe. When you clean it, you should be careful not to fully submerge this toy in water, as it's not waterproof.

To store this toy, I simply place it in my toy box with my other toys. There's no need to worry about it interact badly with other materials, so I don't use a pouch or anything like that. I do, however, recommend that you remove the batteries when this toy is not in use.

Personal comments

The toy DOES claim to be waterproof, but the waterproof seals in this toy are just not right. I wouldn't trust them at all, and for this reason I'm going to say that this toy is only splashproof.
Follow-up commentary
Although my review was only written recently, I have actually this item for several months. Today, while cleaning out my toy chest, the toy made its way into the trash. It was just too cheap, and it didn't do a thing for me. I've tried it so many times, and I keep coming to the same conclusion... it's not the bullet for me.
