Good things come in small packages, and this 6 inch vibrator is definitely one of them. This plastic pocket rocket style vibe is designed for clitoral use, although it may be used for stimulation of other external areas, such as the nipples. It is not intended for insertion, but it is waterproof and can be used in the shower or tub as long as the "O" ring is intact. I have not had any issues so far with waterproofing and I frequently use it in the shower.

Additionally, this vibe has several other attractive features that make it a worthwhile addition to any toy collection. My favorite features are the controls. The Ultimate Massager features a turn base (the entire white section) that switches it from "off" to "on". It's not a loose turn either, so it stays off when you want it off. That makes it excellent for traveling. No one wants vibrating luggage, and this definitely stood the test recently! Additionally, the "function" button located at the colored portion of the base will cycle through the 10 speeds/settings. In order, the settings are low, medium, and high vibration, short pulses, short and long alternating pulses, another variation of short and long alternating pulses, escalating pulses, escalating vibrations with short and long pulses, a roller coaster type setting, and finally a variety setting that mixes vibrations and pulses in a less predictable way. The only down side is that you turn it off at the end of the tenth function and have to hit the button again to start at the beginning. The vibrations have a decent amount of power, as well, which is surprising since it only takes one AA battery. The battery life is pretty good, lasting several hours with one battery.

The massager also comes with 4 optional plastic heads with varying textures—small bumps, medium pointed bumps, large smooth bumps, and a flat domed one. In my experience, the textured heads do not provide much extra stimulation for the clitoris, but can be useful when used on other parts of the body (e.g., breasts, back, stomach, fingers, arms, etc.). While great for solo use, a great option would be to use the different textured heads on a partner, especially while blindfolded for the extra sensory deprivation. You also can use it without the heads for a little temperature play with the three metal nubs. These three nubs are the source of the deep vibrations. Be forewarned, it is harder to clean between the nubs if you don't use one of the plastic heads. However, you can just clean it off with soap and water or toy cleaner. I just use a cotton swab to clean well between them.

Even though it is a discreet vibrator, the sound is not. It is louder than what you would expect, but it is also more powerful than the average discreet toy. The sound can be masked by the water in the shower, or several blankets/pillows on top to muffle it. However, on its own it can be pretty loud. The packaging is pretty discrete, though. It is just simple plastic displaying the vibrator and the four heads—no models, no detailed descriptors. The plastic can be reused since it just opens and shuts around the toys, making it good for storing them away from dust, dirt, and pet hair. Speaking of pet hair, this is the first smooth/velvety toy I have owned that does NOT attract pet hair. That is mostly to do with it being plastic rather than silicone, but the texture is lovely. It also had little to no smell or taste. (I really don't know why someone would lick it other than me for experimental purposes, but there you go, no taste!)

Overall, it's a great simple vibe with lots of features. You get a lot of bang for your buck with this one, which makes it perfect for everyone's collection. With all the features, there is bound to be something for everyone—softer settings for those who don't like strong vibrations, and strong ones for those that don't like soft ones. Varying speeds and pulses for someone wanting more teasing, and straight up vibrations for those that just one to get the job done. The different textured tips are sure to please.
