The Venus Penis is really quite cute in appearance--a sweet purple butterfly toy that attaches via a g-string harness. Unfortunately, that is about the only thing that is worth praising, if it were not so damn silly. This toy is very uncomfortable: it chafes because the wings are too wide and inflexible, the penis probe is too small to be of much use and the clitoral part doesn't snuggle the clitoris at all.
I have always had a fantasy about masturbating in public, and wanted to try a toy that I could wear under my skirt in public. I thought the Venus Penis would be a good starting point and fun to try out. Luckily I tried it first before taking it to the grocery store on a shopping spree! The harness is pretty thin and flimsy. Even if the toy did fit (which it doesn't), the harness wouldn't be strong enough to keep it in place. The vibe operates with a small control that is attached by a cord which allows one to change the vibration settings. The penis probe is only about two inches in length if that, and is hardly satisfying. It is most of an annoying tease, that something made to penetrate and stimulate. The toy does vibrate via a small inserted bullet, but it was nothing mind-blowing or orgasmic. I would suggest going for the bullet by itself, rather than strapping it to you with a silly little butterfly. The butterfly's head is supposed to snuggle the clitoris, but it doesn't come close.
The whole contraption was awkward and didn't fit well, with the wings chafing my thighs. I was very disappointed in this toy and extremely frustrated with trying to make it fit comfortably and work. It was obviously designed by someone who put visual appearance over form and function. Don't be fooled by its cute appearance.

I find this toy much more effective if you're lying down--it stays on a lot better! I agree the penis probe doesn't do much during stimulation, but I did find it intensified my orgasm quite a bit. Unfortunately, most of my favorite strap-on vibes are either discontinued or very hard to find. :(
I would love to try a wireless strap-on. But, I just found this mostly uncomfortable as it didn't fit my anatomy properly.
Anatomy plays a huge role in all sex toys, really. I've been curious about the wireless toys, as well, but tend to shy away from most toys that involve watch batteries, since I'm something of a power queen!
Are the straps one size fits all?
The straps adjust, but the toy itself is inflexible and does not fir all.
I found the straps very generous and enjoyed the rotation, but that's about it. It's noisy and does not stimulate EITHER my clitoris OR anus. If I wanted a butterfly-shaped toy I could only use lying down, I'd stick with California Exotic Novelties' Pearl Butterfly vibrator.
I used to have this one and I find that it works best if you are sitting in a chair that you can straddle with some pillows underneath it. I too had problems the way the straps were made it doesn't stay in place no matter how you adjust them.
