Use

Out and about? Great, take this with you! The range on the remote for the Remote G was so good that it didn’t matter where in our home my partner went with the remote, he could still activate the egg and change the vibration settings! Even from downstairs, he could turn on the egg, which was a surprise to both of us!

As the name suggests, this egg has a tip that is bent in for g-spot stimulation, however, it is only the size of a large marble, so I didn’t really notice it. It does make for great internal vibrations though!

So far, we have only tested this “in hand” running around the house with the remote and once “installed”, however, with the company we have now, going out with it was not an option for us right now. Once we find new batteries for the egg though, this will definitely be travelling with us, around town and everywhere else too!

Material / Texture

Both the egg and remote are made from ABS plastic with a soft, almost velvety coating over them, leaving them soft to the touch. There was no taste or smell from these, even right out of the box, which is a nice change from the “typical” chemical smell I find most adult products have.
    • No odor

    • Smooth

Design / Shape / Size

I really liked the design because it was just different enough to really catch my eye while I was deciding which of the “wireless, remote eggs” to start with! The egg itself is roughly 3-1/4 inches in length, with the bent tip being a 1 inch sphere attached to a normal egg shape. The area that “attaches” the 2 shapes is 5/8 of an inch and then it flares back out to 1-1/4 inches at the widest part of the egg. The “retrieval cord” (also known as the antenna) is 5-1/2 inches long, making retrieving this super easy! I think the first mechanical issue we will have with this one is the retrieval cord/antenna, it is a very thin wire and a kink in the wrong direction may render this fun new toy unusable!

For storage, I clipped the remote to the cord using the clasp on the remote then toss it in a small drawstring bag. Hiding it should not be too hard; you could stuff it in a sock with or without the remote and it would virtually disappear in the drawer. The only thing on the remote that screams “sex toy” is the branding on the front, otherwise it looks like most other key fobs. I already have one for the house and one for the car…might as well toss a third one on the key ring, right? The remote itself is 3 inches long and 1-1/2 inches at the widest spot (near the top). If you need to hide the egg part and you have nosy visitors that would even dig through your drawers looking for the “naughty bits”, well…pop it in and hope the in-laws, kids, cat, etc… don’t play with the remotes on your keys!

I cannot wait to take this toy traveling! We are taking an 8+-hour car trip in a few weeks and we are packing plenty of batteries (providing we find somewhere the sells N-size batteries in bulk before the trip) just for this toy! On the low and medium settings, we could not hear it at all and even on high or the four varying patterns, it can barely be heard.
    • Discreet look/design
    • Partner play

Functions / Performance / Controls

The Remote G has seven vibration patterns; the first three are pretty standard, low, medium, and high. The next setting is called “escalating”, this is pretty much just a stair step through the three levels of vibration. Next is a low pulsating pattern, followed by a high pulsating pattern. The last, as usual, is my favorite pattern of them all! It escalates and pulsates!

The only complaint I had about the various settings was that I could barely feel the low vibrations; otherwise, this was great fun to use, until the batteries in the egg died anyway! After about 5 minutes of use, the batteries died and the egg shut off, ending our experimenting for the evening. We’ll be getting fresh batteries (rather than the “freebies” that came with it) and hopefully it will be able to be used for a longer period of time.

Noise also isn’t a big issue with this egg, except on the escalating and pulsating setting and the high pulsating settings, it wasn’t even noticeable. The bullet itself is waterproof, which is probably a good idea since it is designed for insertion, but make sure the cap is screwed down tightly! The remote is not waterproof…don’t get it wet.
    • Battery guzzler
    • Discreet sound
    • Multiple settings

Care and Maintenance

As always, I use antibacterial soap and warm water as my go to cleaner, but toy cleaners work well (follow the directions for the cleaner you have, mine says to let it sit for a few minutes before rinsing it and letting it air dry), as does toy and/or baby wipes if you need a quick clean up.

I found that the egg actually needed to be washed twice. After cleaning the toy post use and letting it dry overnight, I noticed that the crease where the cap screws on over the batteries still had “gunk” in it. Therefore, with the batteries out, I used a wipe to clean both halves being careful not to get the actual battery compartment wet.

I store the egg and remote in a drawstring bag, separate from the rest of my toys. Each of my toys had its own bag, whether it needs it or not! Some items are just too expensive to risk being destroyed by another accidentally…it only took twice for that lesson to really sink in! This set is just the right size to easily toss the bag in my purse (complete with a sample size lube) if I think we might have an opportunity to use it while out of the house. When it isn’t in my purse though, the bag is in my drawer with everything else.
    • Easy to store

Personal comments

Since this is our first “remote-controlled” toy, I don’t really know how it stacks up against others, but I thought the battery life in the egg could have been better. With a little more length to the bullet, this could easily have held a more popular size of battery. I’m not sure where to even begin looking for the 12v that the remote takes, but I do know N-size batteries are slightly harder to find than your average AAA or AA battery!

  • Waterproof 7-Function Remote G – bullet
    • I recently purchased the Waterproof 7-Function Remote G – bullet. I put the batteries in the egg and it turned itself on -- without the remote. It only vibrates on one steady speed. The remote doesn't seem to work at all. The light flashes, but does not control the egg. Is this a common problem? Has anyone else had this happen?

I'm trying to decide if I want to reorder this one, or just go with a different one.

Not to sound like I think everyone is as stupid as I am but did you put the batteries in the right direction? I had a bullet that I put the batteries in backwards and it turned on without pushing the button and wouldn't shut off or change speeds. That might be what happened. If not, I'm not sure. I don't have this product. If it keeps not working, I'd return it and get a new one. If the problem persists, you might want to look into getting a different toy.

It's funny you mention the batteries! I double checked them after reading your post, and I did have them in right. But knowing me, I could have easily made that mistake. I think I'm just going to return it at this point. Thanks for the help!
