My first impression, upon receiving the Tri-pod, was that it looked rather like a helmet belonging to a certain cartoon Martian. I giggled for several minutes and then decided that it was going to be a very fun toy to review. I grabbed up my bottle of water-based lube and popped the Tripod onto the head of my Hitachi.

I jumped and whacked my head on the headboard when I turned the Hitachi Magic Wand on. For some reason that I cannot explain, the normally-somewhat-loud-happy-stick transformed into a Martian-helmet-wearing jackhammer. It was LOUD. But it was also magically more intense.

It took me a few minutes to warm up to the ultra-intense vibration, on the low setting. Once I did, I had a hard time getting things to fit in the right places. You see, the Tripod has a long “finger” that goes in the vagina, a shorter “finger” that is designed to stimulate the ass, and a nubby section up top for clit stimulation. Therein lies the problem for me. It just didn’t quite fit. When it was positioned to reach my ass, it fell away from my clit and vice versa.

I finally gave up and went for the clit stimulation, but by that point I was almost numb. That first attempt had to be scratched altogether. I tried it out several times in the next few days and finally found the best way to use it. I had to forego the ass stimulation altogether, but as it turns out, it didn’t really matter.

This toy is definitely not something to romance yourself with, as the vibration are so intense that it doesn’t take long before you can’t feel anything at all. Fortunately, once you discover just the right way to hold it, orgasms come hard and fast. It’s certainly great for those evenings when you want to come but don’t have the energy to use other methods.

When my husband played too, we discovered something amazing. He calls it my “H spot” and loves it. I am still impressed with this accessory for my Hitachi.  I use it when I need (or want) to get off fast, which is great with my hectic schedule.  The intensity of the vibrations with the Tripod is amazing.  I have no idea what the mechanics are, I just know that my Hitachi goes from Vroom to ZOOOM when the Tripod is attached.
