I live in a dorm, and I was nervous that it could be heard outside the door. The vibrator takes a single double A battery, so I took one out of my CD player. You turn it on by turning the bottom. When you turn it off, you can’t turn it too far or the battery compartment will open.
The vibrations are pretty strong. Personally, I never got off with them, but they do feel nice. The dolphin on top is flexible, so you can use it or move it depending on how you like your vibrations. The dolphin carries vibration okay and would be good for someone with a fairly sensitive clitoris. Sometimes I wish it wasn't there because I prefer the stronger vibrations provided by the dolphin's base and the dolphin itself tends to get in the way. Being waterproof, it cleans up easily. I just wash it in the sink with antibacterial soap.
It has a strange habit of turning on on its own. I have no clue why, but sometimes I'll be doing work or trying to sleep and I'll suddenly hear a buzzing sound coming out of my desk drawer. I absolutely cannot explain how this happens. All I can say is that I'm glad my roommate already knew I had a vibrator.
Strange supernatural occurances aside, I give it 4 stars out of 5.
