Vivid's swirl marble vibrator - traditional vibrator by Doc Johnson - review by Aftertherain13

I have to admit, when I first bought this vibrator, I bought it purely for its gorgeous marble design. It looks very pretty and is available in many colors, which definitely appeals to the eye.

It is made of a smooth, hard plastic so it is easy to clean, easy to use, and very comfortable on the skin. There are no seams that you can feel or see and the marble design is on the inside of the vibrator, so it doesn't interfere with your playtime. The rigidness of the plastic should be taken into consideration when using this toy for insertion, as some painful accidents could occur when you throw caution to the wind.
The plastic allows the toy to glide easily and under normal circumstances, you shouldn't even have to use lube with this toy. However, if you like your toys to be extra slippery, you will also be able to use any type of lubrication with this one! No certain type of lube will affect this toy in any way. The plastic is also super easy to clean, although I would recommend that you use toy wipes or a spray toy cleaner instead of soap and water because unfortunately, this toy is NOT waterproof. Also, this toy does not harbor any smells.

The marble vibrator is pretty small in length and girth. It is about 6" long and 1 1/4" wide. The size is definitely not intimidating, but gets the job done. It can be easily tucked away for storage or travel. Its best use, in my opinion, is for clitoral stimulation but with a insertion length at about 5", it can also provide for a fun time in that aspect as well. This is an especially great toy for beginners that aren't wowed by large toys.

If you are looking for a quiet toy that is good for roommate living or dorm living-this toy is NOT for you. I had to give it 4 bees for its volume, as it definitely has a loud, buzzing vibration. Even under the covers, it could probably be heard in the next room. This definitely took me by surprise. It has three different speeds that you control with a twist knob, which makes it pretty easy to change during use. The highest is most definitely the best setting. Ultimately, I was disappointed that this toy offered no interesting settings, such as pulse or roller-coaster, just the boring old "slow," "faster," "fastest".

This toy is powered by 1 AA battery, but beware, if used regularly, you will blast through a pack of AA's very quickly.

I would have enjoyed this toy more had it been waterproof, a bit more discreet, and maybe a tad bit bigger. If all you're looking for is steady, trusty clitoral or nipple stimulation, this is a great toy to have! Because of these problems, I couldn't bear to give it more than a 3-star rating.

Also, as a pointer, I would NOT recommend this toy for anal use because it does not have a larger base and could easily get lost in the heat of the moment!

This toy began to make a VERY loud buzzing/humming after just a few uses. It is so annoying now that I can barely use it. I imagine it's from poor quality.
