The Tropical G Wave is a toy made for clitoral and g-spot pleasure. This toy is not meant for a beginner. The design of this product could be a bit uncomfortable for those who are not used to using toys. That said, for anyone other than a beginner, this toy is good to use at any time the urge should arise.

The G Wave has a textured head for extra g-spot stimulation and is made of a soft jelly which makes it that much better because it has some give to it when your muscles tense. The texture of this toy I would normally say would be good for anyone, including beginners, but because of the size and shape of this specific toy, I think beginners should stay away. When I opened this toy I did not notice any kind of smell.

I do enjoy the design of this toy very much. It looks like a penis merged with a wave and is a beautiful shade of blue. The head of the G Wave is textured for great stimulation on the g-spot and is quite enjoyable. The size of this toy is a bit on the bigger end of the spectrum measuring 7-1/2 inches in length with 6-1/2 inches being insertable, the circumference is 5 inches, and the diameter is about 1-5/8 inches. This toy is not made to be very discreet or easily hidden. It will pretty much stand out anywhere you put it, so I would advise for it to be put away somewhere. As for whether it is travel friendly...all I can say is you're probably better off just leaving it at home.

In my opinion, the performance of this toy leaves something to be desired. That may just be because when I received this toy, the bullet which provides the vibrations was broken. The bullet itself was a push button with only the one speed, but on mine in order to get it to work, you would have to hold the button in which makes it impossible to use, much less enjoy. However, had the bullet been in working condition, I would say this toy would be fabulous because the bullet is placed just right to make comfortable contact with the clit. The G Wave is a waterproof toy so it can be enjoyed in the shower and also has the suction cup feature so it will stick to some surfaces. The entire toy itself weighs about 1 lb., so attempting to suction cup this thing to a wall or something would be pointless because it is too heavy for the suction to hold. So I suggest when using the suction cup, place it on a surface where you are able to sit down on it instead of backing up onto it.

This toy is made of a jelly substance and can not be sterilized, so NO boiling water! Because this toy can not be sterilized, it is not wise to share it, and if you are planning on sharing, always use with a condom. To clean this toy, all you need is some toy cleaner/soap (do NOT use strong soaps on this toy), and it's good to keep it in a cool dark place.

The G Wave came in a plastic package that was very pretty and inviting along with some instructions on how to change the batteries in the bullet. It does come with two sets of batteries, one will already be in the bullet when it comes, and there is a spare set in the package as well. I would not suggest using this package for storage. It is large and would be difficult to hide it away.

My experience with this toy was not the greatest due to the lack of bullet. However, it is still a pleasurable toy without the bullet. Also, if you had a bullet close to the same size as the one that comes with it, you would be set in case the same thing happens to you.
