It’s hard for me not to love the cute design of the Double Click, with its one handed remote and soft touch plastic finish. Unlike many bullets I’ve used, the Double Click doesn’t feel flimsy and the remote sits so comfortably in my hand that it’s hard not to press the button just because it’s there. The bullets are lightly weighted as well and the soft plastic grips on the side of the remote feel nice and serve their purpose.

While the concept of this vibe is great, the design execution leaves something to be desired. The vibe has a power button which is separate from the “clicker” that changes the vibration pattern. The power button operates easily and without trouble, but that clicker needs some work. It is difficult to depress accurately and doesn’t always spring back into place to be clicked again. Similarly, the shells that are put together to make the eggs are misaligned leaving a palpable seam which I could feel when using them internally and which produced an uncomfortable scraping when the seam was rubbed against my tissues. All of these little details are unfortunate given the sleek idea behind the design.

Design flaws aside, the function of the double bullet is surprisingly pleasant. Vibrations range from strong to altogether weak, plus a number of pulsations and patterns. I found that the eggs can be used together vaginally, or separately vaginally and for clitoral stimulation. I had a strong desire to use one egg vaginally and one anally, but resisted temptation based on the fact that the lack of a flared base makes these eggs a poor choice for anal play. The quality of the wire coming out of each egg is not strong enough to be yanked on, especially with the resistance that might be encountered if using it anally.

When positioned side by side internally, these bullets provided a fabulous feeling of fullness that I just loved. On the high settings (strong vibration or pulsation) they provided great stimulation. However, if the intensity is turned down to the middle settings the vibrations are mediocre and best, and on the lowest setting would be more accurately described as shaking rather than vibrating. I loved removing them while the bullets were side by side; an exit which provided an exhilarating stretch that kept me wanting more.

The single downside to using them at the same time for penetration is that if the eggs touched, they produced a very loud clacking that could be heard outside of my body! With that exception, these bullets are pretty strong without making too much noise. I would have really liked the ability to make this toy interchangeable between single or double bullets because of the noise issue.

So in the tradition of Topco toys, the Double Click is decent toy which is compromised in quality. I liked this middle of the line bullet, although it certainly could have been better made.
