Astrovibes Pisces - traditional vibrator discontinued by Fun Factory - review by FemmeFlo

This toy is the "beast" in my collection. At 8 inches, 7 inches insertable, it is the largest toy I have tried. It provides powerful vibrations that travel well throughout the length, and is an excellent thrusting toy. The girth is rather large; this toy might not be for beginners. However, it is flexible and has an excellent plush texture that makes it very comfortable for insertion.

I took a good look at the Astrovibes series when I went shopping for a larger toy, and this one appealed to me the most. It has interesting grooves that provide a lot of stimulation. The eyes at the toy's head are a nice teaser, but I didn't really feel them when the toy was turned on, so try using the toy without the vibrating function occasionally to reap the full benefit of this toy's unique shape. The eyes also feel great when rubbed over my clit when the toy is turned on.

This is my first silicone toy, and I love the plush texture and knowing that it's made from the best material available in terms of cleanliness and keeping it sanitary. Keep it away from silicone lube, of course, but the material is definitely an upside to this toy, not a downside. It does have a slightly sweet smell that hasn't gone away after several washings, but it's not unpleasant. The Pisces' main downside is the fact that it's not waterproof, so be careful with the base when washing it and don't take it in the shower. The dial is also a little hard to turn with slippery fingers. It takes 2 AA batteries, and provides a lot of power for a toy that runs on medium batteries.

My overall impression of this toy: its impressive size and power are great for giving yourself a nice hard fucking.

This toy is still the beast of my collection, and I get it out when I'm craving a really filled feeling, as well as some interesting texture. It has some cons: it's not waterproof and it's heavy to hold. Another feature I've found that I dislike is that it tends to numb my hand after a while of holding it. This is because there's no handle to hold onto, and the motor is located at the bottom. But its powerful vibrations travel well, and the tip can be used for some powerful clitoral stimulation.

Since writing my original review, I've tried using this toy anally. I used a condom with it, although since it's silicone, it can also be sanitized after-wards with a bleach solution (do not boil, contains mechanical parts). The impressive girth made it quite a challenge, but it was a very enjoyable experience. After easing it inside with lots of lube, I let it vibrate inside me for a while before thrusting with it. If you put it to this use, do be careful to keep a hold on the base, since it's not flared and technically it could get swallowed by a very hungry butt. Due to its size though, I find this unlikely.

If you're looking for a toy with a similar girth, lots of texture, and a high material safety that is waterproof, the Fleur de Lis Silicone Desire might be the toy for you. However, the not-waterproof aspect is not a problem for me since I wouldn't use a toy this large anywhere except in bed. I need to be relaxed to take it all!
