Getaway Luxe - g-spot vibrator discontinued by Nomi Tang - review by Lioncub

Nomi Tang's Getaway Luxe is a g-spot vibrator, and a great one at that. This particular G-Spot vibrator has a smooth head that makes it very easy to reach your g-spot and stimulate it the way it should be. This vibrator can be used solo or with a partner; and should work for anyone from beginner to the most advanced user. I personally use this vibrator more solo than with my partner. With the shape of the head you can also use this vibrator for breast or testicle stimutation. This vibrator could be used for anal play if it were so desired as it does have a nice futuristic flared base to keep it from getting lost.

The Luxe is made of silicone which is rated a 10 on the Eden's Safety Scale; this also ensures you that it is latex and phtlalates free as well as hypo-allergenic. The Luxe has no texture to it. I did not notice any smell when opening the package. Being that it is silicone I noticed a bit of drag to you that can easily be fixed by using a drop or water based lube.

The Luxe measures in at 8 1/2 inches with approx 6 of those inches being insertable; this is due to the flared base and control switch. The circumference is approx 4 inches with the diameter being just over 1 inch. I found this size to be just right for me, it is about average for other g-spot toys that I own.

The vibrations in the Luxe are felt more in the shaft of the vibrator than in the head. If you are wanting it for pinpoint stimulation this is something to take into consideration.

This vibrator reminds me of a child's toy jet. It is sleek with a base that flares slighly upwards like the jet. That being said I don't think I would leave this toy laying around as you can still tell what it is as soon as you pick it up. You can easily travel with this toy, simply remove the batteries and drop it in your carry on bag or pack it in your suitcase.

The Luxe is powered by 2 AA batteries which are inserted by removing the base of the Luxe. When you are putting the base back on make sure it is secure and on all the way, if you are in rush it may go on at an angle that will not allow it to work properly.

The power button is located near the end of the base that connects to the shaft. I had to use a little bit of pressure to turn mine on and off at first, as I have used it more it has gotten easier to push. To change the mode of the Luxe there is a touch slide located just below the power button. To intensify the power push your finger towards the end of the vibe and back towards your body to slow it down again.

This toy is waterproof as long as you make sure it is sealed all the way. I did not notice any reduction in power when doing a submerssion test with it.

The Luxe is a fairly quiet toy, it could be heard under a light blanket but not under a comforter and for sure not outside of the bedroom door.

Being that the Luxe is made of Silicone you can wash it easily with soap and water, toy cleaner, or wipes. For storage purposes I store it in a ziploc bag to ensure it does not rub against other toys made of other materials.

If you find you need to use lube with this vibe you will need to use water-based as a silicone based may have a chemical reaction with the material.
