The PicoBong Ipo is a small finger vibrator with a wide variety of uses. It can be used as a no-slip clitoral vibrator, for teasing the erogenous zones, or to give you some good vibes all over your body! This ringer vibe is also a great match for massaging the testicles, penis, or perineum of both sexes. While it feels good on the outside, it may not be the best match for internal vaginal stimulation because of the ring where the finger is inserted, but some may find this pleasurable, or like a second vibrating finger. The Ipo isn't totally anal-safe, so it's best not to use it in this manner.

The Ipo's vibrations are best for those who prefer light stimulation or have overly sensitive erogenous zones. It would make a great companion for beginners, and those who find that other vibrators are a little too strong for their taste. The Ipo is made from a combination of silicone and plastic. The Ipo's silicone is very velvety with a great amount of grab. This silicone isn't as flexible as most silicone toys on the market, but it does offer a bit more of a plush sensation than toys made of plastic alone. The finger ring stretches to fit a wide variety of finger sizes, but isn't so stretchy that it can accidentally slip off. If you prefer more of a glide for your Ipo, you can used a water-based lube (silicone lubes may damage the material). Because silicone is non-porous, only a little lube is needed for a nice smooth glide. The word "PicoBong" is engraved into the side of the toy, but it doesn't really add any stimulation, and is usually not noticed during use.

Plastic is also an excellent choice for toys because it is also non-porous. The only real plastic on this toy is the cap at the end which unscrews to reveal the battery compartment. This part of the toy usually does not come into contact wit bodily fluids, so it's not much of an issue.

As with most toys made of silicone and plastic, this toy has no smell or taste.

The Ipo is an oval shape that resembles an egg. The small, rounded tip at the top of the toy allows for more direct stimulation, while the sides of the toy are great for stimulating over a larger area. This is a great feature because the user can change up the stimulation. The size and shape of the Ipo are a wonderful fit for a woman's anatomy, as it fits in between the labia incredibly well and can nestle down the length of them.

The entire length of the Ipo is about 3 1/4", meaning that it's small and easy to maneuver. The 1" diameter means that it's not bulky. The Ipo requires 1 AAA battery. The manufacturer claims that the battery will last for about two hours of play. The batteries are very easy to insert. Just screw off the plastic cap, slip the battery in, and you're all set to play. Always make sure your battery cap is closed tightly before use in or around water.

The controls of this toy are located on the PicoBong logo along the side of the toy. You will find your - button on the "P" and your + button in the "B" of the toy. Pressing the + button will turn the toy on. Holding down the + button will steadily raise the speed until the highest speed is reached. Then, there are a large number of various functions after your steady vibrations. These include multiple pulsation patterns that vary in speed and length of pulse, then there are a number of roller coaster functions which vary in speed and intensity, and the last function is more of a random one which sends out different pulses and roller coaster vibrations in a random pattern. The only negative side to the controls and features of this toy is that the buttons can be slightly hard to press and that it can be difficult to switch the toy from steady mode onto the patterns. It takes a little playing with and adds a bit of a learning curve to an otherwise simple toy.

The vibrations travel throughout the toy, but don't seem to be powerful enough to make your finger go numb. With that said, the vibrations are pretty light when compared to most small bullets. Even on the highest speed, they're more of a tease than a 'rock-your-world' level of power. While those who like a lot of vroom to their toys may be disappointed with the lack of power in this one, it makes a great companion for those who have sensitive areas or get irritated by strong vibrations. Because of the light vibration level, it's also very quiet. It can barely be heard under covers, and certainly shouldn't be heard through a closed door.

Care for the Ipo is pretty simple. Because the toy is silicone, you can rinse it off with warm water and anti-bacterial soap when needed. You can use a 10:1 water and bleach solution if you need to disinfect it. This is one silicone toy you shouldn't boil due to the motor inside the toy. When washing, the PicoBong logo can become a little difficult to get completely clean because it is inlaid in the silicone. This can be remedied by using a small soft-bristle brush on it and it shouldn't become too much of a problem.

The toy is easy to store. Unlike some other silicone toys, this one isn't much of a dust and lint magnet. It doesn't seem to pick up much random fuzz or dust like other silicone toys can. Because of this, you don't have to be too picky about where you store it, although keeping it away from lint and dust is always a good idea for cleanliness reasons.

Make sure to always used a water-based lube with anything silicone, as silicone lubes can damage the material and make it permanently tacky or sticky.

The Ipo comes packaged with a little die. The die has each one of the PicoBong toys on it. This is a little extra bonus with this toy, as you and your lover can roll to see which toy you're going to use that night. The great thing about the die is that the toys are pretty much universal, so instead of the PicoBong, you can use a toy by another company for the same effect.

The packaging is very eye-catching and resembles something a high-tech, trendy gadget would come packaged in.

I honestly was a bit disappointed by the PicoBong line by Lelo. Lelo is synonymous with luxury and quality products, but I didn't feel as if that was the case with these toys. I realize that the reasons I don't like it (not having enough power, having a cheaper look and feel than other Lelo toys) are reasons that are personal preferences because I'm a toy snob. This toy could work very well for others, but it didn't work that great for me. Lelo is right that it is an affordable silicone line, but it's not up to the same luxury level as the other toys by Lelo are. All in all, you get what you pay for, and the price isn't too bad with this one.
