Will someone please put this rabbit out of its misery?

At three batteries a pop, you are guaranteed to need tons of batteries. This toy sucks the energy right out of them. On one hand, this toy is excellent, it has so much power it's guaranteed to impress even the toughest critic. On the other hand, it is very loud; too loud to use if you want discretion.

Use

The Jack Rabbit is user friendly and fun to use. It has tons of power and multiple settings. This toy is slightly bulky and extremely loud. It's definitely not a discreet toy. It's great for use alone, or with others. Pleasure is guaranteed!

Material / Texture

This toy has a slight smell to it when it's new. It's not an overwhelming smell, just noticeable. It's smooth to the touch, very pretty and mostly see-through. Near the head, it has several bumps to increase pleasure and yes, they work.

Design / Shape / Size

I love the design of this toy. It's cute and the bunny ears add to the pleasure you receive. One downfall to the design is the fact that it is bulky. I would like it better if it were smaller and easier to carry along with me. This toy is not suitable for travel. When I think of something as travel friendly, I think small, quiet and discreet, none of which describes the Jack Rabbit.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The Jack Rabbit has different settings for both the vibration and rotation functions. There are three settings for the vibration and at the highest setting, it is mighty powerful. This toy also has three settings for the rotation action of the shaft. The rotation wasn't as exciting to me as the vibration, so I didn't use it as often, but those settings were semi-powerful. You can use both the vibration and the rotation settings at the same time and it does not take any power away from either one. The controls are located in a wonderful position on the side of the "handle" which is at the base of the toy. It is waterproof and does perform well in water. After using it in the water, the battery compartment was extremely dry and I was impressed with the waterproof quality of this rabbit.

Care and Maintenance

This toy is fairly easy to care for. I stored mine in the original box. This is a waterproof toy, so always remember to store it dry. I use water-based lubes with all of my toys and it's safe to use with this toy.

I simply used mild soap and warm water to clean this toy before and after every use. It has some creases in it due to the design that you need to make sure to clean properly.

Experience

As you can see, I have given the Jack Rabbit 3 stars. It has a few downfalls. Mine has some sort of discoloration near the bunny ears. I'm not sure what it is but it's a blackish color and it's inside of it, on the vibrator motor. I have, of course, thrown this toy away because I do not feel safe using it any longer. I'm not sure why the discoloration happened. Perhaps it was just the silver coating of the vibrator rubbing off? I have no idea, but the toy was only around 4 months old, so I was very bummed.

Glad you don't feel safe using it anymore - it's made of jelly, very porous and may leak harmful chemicals.

more details would be helpful, i.e.: what material is the Rabbit made of? what about the girth and length? good start at reviewing.

Glad you tossed this! I can only speculate, but the black stuff was probably mold growing on whatever fluids or soap penetrated the porous jelly - that's IMO. You are far better off buying a better material from Eden, such as silicone because nonporous materials are safer for you. If you do have any other jelly, or other porous materials, using a condom over the toy will help protect you! Just remember to keep jelly from touching any other toy materials - it will react with them!
