Wonder Why I Bought This Vibe

Everything about the Wonder Vibe 2 is non-threatening. It's soft, it's flexible, it's light in vibrations, and it's comfortable to hold. Either beginners or those craving a soft, gentle experience could benefit from this toy.

Use

The intended use for the Wonder Vibe 2 is for G-spot stimulation. Great for beginners, the Wonder Vibe 2 is made to be flexible and offers different textures that don't necessarily apply much pressure. The texture could also be good for clitoral play. Beginners and those who are sensitive to firmer toys would be the best recipients of this vibrator.

The Wonder Vibe 2 is waterproof, so you can take it in the shower or tub as well. The sound is not overwhelming, and the unit can easily be tossed in a bag and taken on travel. With the design, it is pretty obvious this is a sex toy, but the sound and size are fairly discreet.

Material / Texture

The Wonder Vibe 2 is constructed of TPR Material. The TPR lends itself to many different textures and flexibilities, as present in this vibe. However, this is a porous material and sharing should be done with condoms.

The Wonder Vibe 2 is soft to the touch and extremely flexible. It also has ridges and bumps for added stimulation.

Unfortunately, this vibe packs a punch with an overwhelming odor straight out of the package. Even after several cleanings, the smell doesn't go away. Since my stomach isn't lined with iron, you aren't getting a taste test -- not with that obnoxious smell!

Design / Shape / Size

The Wonder Vibe 2 is designed with a pronounced curve for G-spot stimulation. It is flexible and contains a few different textures to add to the excitement.

The size of the vibe is non-threatening. Wonder Vibe 2 has a larger head for G-spotting. The head is about an inch in diameter, and then it slims a bit to accommodate the many protruding ridges and bumps before increasing again to the full diameter of 1 3/8 inch. It then tapers down to the control.

The control is a dial that turns to increase or decrease your preferred vibrations. To turn off the unit, simply turn the dial back to its original start position.

The unit runs on two "AAA" batteries.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The Wonder Vibe 2 is designed with a distinct curve for G-spot stimulation. Wonder Vibes are made with great flexibility to allow them to bend comfortably to fit most body types. This does affect the amount of pressure that can be placed on any given area.

The control is a simple dial style located at the base, allowing for varied speeds. The motor is located around the middle of the vibe. Due to the material type, the vibrations do not travel well throughout the unit. The vibrations are buzzy in nature, and the volume of the toy does kick up on the higher settings, but it really isn't overly noticeable. There isn't a lot of power behind the vibrations, so it's more of a gentle toy. It is great for a tease or for building up intensity and desire.

A plus is that the Wonder Vibe 2 is waterproof, so it can be submerged in the tub or pool or taken in the shower.

Care and Maintenance

The Wonder Vibe 2 can be washed with antibacterial soap and water or wiped down with toy cleaner. Be certain to cleanse the ridges and bumps well as they tend to collect body fluids and lube. I recommend washing before use as well to remove any dust/lint that manages to adhere to the vibrator.

The TPR used to make the vibe is porous, but it is phthalates free, latex free and hypoallergenic. Do not boil the Wonder Vibe 2 as it could destroy the toy.

Silicone and water-based lubricants are both safe to use.

A toy pouch would be ideal for storage, but you can reuse the original packaging also.

Packaging

Packaging consists of nothing more then plain, clear, easy-to-open plastic. It doesn't come with instructions, but the cardboard insert in the packaging gives the material, length, waterproof, and speed information. There is nothing special about the package. It can be disposed of or reused for storage.

Personal comments

Those who are beginners and those who are looking for a more tender experience or light foreplay will find the most pleasure from this vibrator.

Experience

The Wonder Vibe 2 is a gentle teaser. It's capable of getting you started, but there's simply not enough strength in the design and not enough power in the vibrations to get the job done. The flexibility proved too pliable to provide enough pressure on my G-spot, and the unit was too weak to satisfy me for a clitoral experience. The ridges and bumps were really ineffective, mainly due to the flexibility of the toy.

The Wonder Vibe 2 is waterproof and comfortable to hold onto, but it has too strong of a smell, is too flexible, has ridges that aren't enough, and is made from material that is porous. I really don't like this one.
Follow-up commentary
The Wonder Vibe 2 is simply not the toy for me. I'm still wondering why I bought it or more appropriately why I don't toss it. I pulled the Wonder Vibe out to give it another try but all the reasons I put it away struck me immediately with that overwhelming smell. I require thicker, faster, sturdier and less smelly vibrators for my own pleasure. This one goes back in it's original packaging and tossed into the dead zone (a sad and lonely box in the back of my closet).

I wholeheartedly believe beginners would benefit the most from the Wonder Vibe 2.
