My impressions of the material are great. It is a hard plastic casing. It has no smell or taste to it. It has a smooth texture so it does not have any effect on the body whatsoever. It is just a hard plastic toy with a hard plastic bullet. The texture could be used for any user, from beginner to advanced. I enjoy this toy and would recommend it to anybody that wants to spice things up in the bedroom. The functions of this teaser are a vibrating function and a mood-lighting function as well. The vibrations are located solely in the bullet and the lights are located in the bullet also. I think that the vibration function and the light function are both great. I like the intensity of the vibrations in the bullet and I enjoy the blue light function also. It gives the experience nice mood lighting, which adds spice to it. I didn't think there was any bad functions with this toy due to the fact that it only has 2 functions and I liked them both. The control is a dial-base control and it is really easy to use. All you do is put the batteries in, plug the bullet into the main body, and dial up the control to your desired vibration intensity. The light gets brighter as the vibrations get more intense. This toy is fairly quiet. I give it about a 2-3 bees. It can be heard over the sheets though, so if you are using this toy, try to make sure your doors are shut and also your windows. This toy is not waterproof at all because it has batteries and wires so it is only supposed to be used out of water.

The care and maintenance of this toy is simple. You keep it in a dry place, like in a toy box or something similar to that. You clean it by using a damp wash cloth and soap, and just wipe it clean. You can either wipe it dry or just let it air dry. Do not store it with the batteries in it. Make sure that when you are not using this toy to take your batteries out to prevent from the batteries dying. It is preferred that after every use and after you clean it, that you just quickly wipe it with hand sanitizer or toy wipes to sanitize it and prevent contamination of toys.
