Teardrop 10-function - egg vibrator by Cal Exotics - review by Shayne

This vibrator is amazing! You can use it anally (not recommended), vaginally, and for clitoral stimulation, or whatever else you would like. Personally, I use it as a clitoral vibe because of the soft, rounded point. Did I mention soft? This thing is SUPER soft. I have a bullet vibe and a two 'ball' vibe that are hard, and don't even come close to this. The texture and the variation of speeds and the combination of programs (I'll explain later) make it perfect for anyone from beginners to experts.

The teardrop is made out of TPR (Thermoplastic Rubber) and the battery case, ABS plastic. The teardrop is super soft and squeezable and holds vibrations very well. It's kinda sticky, but not so much as to where it becomes a problem. I loved that there was no noticeable smell when taking it out of the packaging. The controller seems very sturdy and the controls remind me of a hospital TV remote, where the buttons are covered in plastic that is molded to / at least covers the buttons so grime doesn't get down in it. The box also says that it's waterproof but I haven't tested that out yet - I will soon!

I have to say that the first thing I noticed about this product was how the vibrator inside the teardrop entirely filled it so the vibrations at the tip were stronger. The vibrations are evenly distributed through the teardrop, and the rounded tip and shape plus a bit of lube make for some delicious fun time. I love how it's small and purple so its easy to hide in a drawer if need be - it definitely doesn't stand out like some other toys I have. I would travel with this toy if I had a chance.

The controls on this vibe are what I've been wanting in a vibrator for a while: Programmed functions.

It has 10 functions, in order from turning it on: 1)Low steady vibration 2)Medium steady vibration 3)Powerful steady vibration, 4)Short pulses, 5)Short/long pulses 6)Short short/long pulses 7)Increasing pulses from low to medium to higher medium to powerful 8)Slow, steady buildup, two pulses 9)Slow, steady buildup, 3 pulses, comes down slowly, two pulses 10)3 pulses, steady buildup.

Personally, my favorite is function 8! The LED on the remote pulsates from green (light) to yellow (medium) to red (strong) so you can see what you're getting into. This vibrator is very, very quiet, so you can hunt wabbits! (Just kidding, but I had to say that.) If I hold it away from me with the TV or music on on at a moderately quiet level, I can barely hear it. The controls are self explanatory: There's an on/off button, and a button above that that changes the vibration.

This IS waterproof, but I haven't tried it out yet. I'll update this when I do.

This toy is very easy to care for. Personally, I wouldn't insert it without a condom, especially anally, since I'm not sure how porous TPA is. Since I only use this externally, I just spray on my toy cleaner and wash it. I store this in a small bag in a drawer and use it with water based lube, as per instructions.

Edit: Just to clarify, I WOULD NOT recommend this for anal use. It mentioned it on the box, so I mentioned it in here.

The packaging is a bit tacky, but not pornographic, like a lot of sex toy boxes I've seen. It has an attractive blonde woman on the front and a picture of the vibrator, with information on the sides. The instructions are on how to change the batteries, and come in about 120 languages. Okay, 6, but it seems like 120! Again, it mentioned anal use on the box, but I do NOT recommend it!

I'm generally a love it or hate it kind of person. I really do love this. The one thing that I wish it had was the option to skip directly to a certain setting, but I don't know how that would even be incorporated.
