Having purchased the
Xtreme bullet previously, I knew it wouldn't be long before I was tempted to purchase another toy from the
Xtreme pack product line from California Exotics. I settled on the Xtreme kit after some debate because it was going to be hard to equal my beloved Xtreme pack g-spot bullet!
The packaging for the
Xtreme kit is rather simple plastic that snaps open and closed so, the Xtreme kit is easy to remove. The packaging does boast 5 xtreme speeds, 7 xtreme functions and xtreme lights. It also lists that there is a single plug-in jack and EZ on/off. There is also a warning to not get the battery end wet or immerse it in water as well as a warning to use only rubber compatible lubricants with this product! I guess that is because of the rubber cote covering these bullets. Rubber compatible lubricants are silicone and water based. Once again, as with the
Xtreme g-spot vibe I found myself a bit confused as far as cleaning goes. Is it rubber or is it plastic? I would suggest going with the cleaning instructions for rubber since the packaging warns to use only rubber compatible lubes. Rubber is porous so a condom is recommended to help keep the toy cleaner or when sharing. Rubber can be cleaned with your favorite toy cleaner or with antibacterial soap and water.
So, how did it measure up? Well, it does have 5 speeds and 7 functions for a possible combination of 35 different settings. The speeds start out at a very mild vibration that would be suitable for anyone and end on a good strong vibration that may be too intense for some so, there's a good combination of intensities so you can customize your preference which is always nice! I do believe that the smaller bullet has the most intense vibrations though. I really wish the Xtreme kit had two jacks on it rather than just one. I had no need to fret too much though as I already own the Xtreme g-spot bullet and the control packs are completely interchangeable right down to the 2 AA batteries! The only difference in them that I can tell are the colors. The control pack on this one is a hot pink color with gray ribbed areas for a better grip which is nice when you get everything lubed up! They may not match very well with each other but, they work perfectly!
The bullets themselves are covered in rubber cote which makes them oh so soft and smooth! The bigger of the bullets looks to me like a medium size egg and the smaller bullet looks to be just a bit bigger than a micro bullet. I love the size of the smaller bullet to use during missionary sex because I can just pop it on my clit and it kind of stays where I need it to be usually. It gives me that extra clitoral stimulation I need to be pushed over the edge to ecstasy! I did notice on these bullets, an extra feature lacking in my Xtreme bullet. On the ends of both bullets where the wires go in, there is an o ring to help keep moisture out! A nice touch I thought, since I'm always paranoid fluids are going to leak in there and kill it!
Once again, I really didn't find the lights to be all that Xtreme but, they are nice to have. They are simple, red, led lights that indicate which speed setting you are on. They also kind of dance when the different functions are turned on.
As far as the controls go, they are simple to operate. There is a plus and minus button for each speed setting and a separate plus and minus button for each function. There is also an on/off button separating the two. I always appreciate an instant off feature on my toys so I don't have to cycle through all of the settings! Nice!
I would highly recommend this Xtreme kit to anyone who loves bullet vibes! It is rather pricey but, I expect it to hold up as well as my Xtreme pack g-spot bullet vibe. The Xtreme kit has definitely earned it's place at the top of my toy box... or maybe under my pillow just to keep it close! I never know when I might need it in a hurry!

Haha! Yeah, the colors on this one are better unless you are looking for something different and the Xtreme G-spot is different! I do honestly have to say that the Xtreme G-spot bullet vibe is my reason for purchasing this bullet set and I still LOVE my Xtreme G-spot, honestly, more than this one. If it's going to be your first bullet, definitly go with the Xtreme G-spot! I have abused my G-spot bullet vibe and it still works like new and I have had it longer than this one. I am so undecided. If i purchase this it will be my first bullet. I have yet to purchase one because I always assumed they were wimpy looking. But after reading some reviews I have decide to try one. Would you say that you prefer the Xtreme G-Spot over this one? I have to say this one looks a little more appealing.

Thank you Beautiful Dreamer! I agree about the o rings. I wish more toys had these! These are a bit pricey but, so far, I think they are worth it! Especially if you love bullets. I can understand not being able to justify them though. It took me quite awhile before I actually bought them! =)
The o rings were a good idea- I too am paranoid about anything water and toys. Great review, though I can't justify spending that much on a bullet (yet). Glad you enjoy them though!!

I did use the smaller bullet for quite some time the other night and found that it got a bit warm after awhile. I had been using it for like 30 mins though... It was not hot, just warm so, I switched out to the other bullet. It is something to keep in mind though. I do wish these were cheaper but, what can you do? Poor kitty! It can't help it that it likes bullets! Maybe it's just jealous form the attention you give the bullets? =P If you get these, I'll be waiting for a review! =)
I had been looking at these for awhile (I too, love my bullets ;) ) but just hadn't got the right push to add this to my wish list. So thanks for that extra push, I am sure I am going to enjoy this pack, and the two bullets are very nice for someone who's damn cat likes to kill bullet wires :( Another great review Oggins!

Since I already have two control packs, it would be fantastic if I could purchase different bullets without the added cost of another controller! Thanks for the tip on the condom! That would definitely be easier on the wires!

I was willing to shell out a little extra just because of the xtreme pack g-spot bullet. I do still prefer the g-spot bullet over this one but, as you stated, it's because of the tip! The O rings in this Xtreme kit are a delightful addition and I really hope they add them to thier other products as well!
Sounds like they should just make a set of Xtreme kit components- different bullets that all fit into one battery pack.
You can always through the bullet in a condom, too, for insertion- easier in the wire attachment point.
Oh man, that is nice that they have O-rings. I share the same fear. I'm tempted by your description of using the small one during sex, but I just can't... quite... spend $43 on this. I think it's because I really REALLY appreciate the tip on the Xtreme g-spot bullet and I don't know if I would be satisfied without a tip like that.
