You just don't make sense at all.

This little thing wasn't what I expected at all. The design of it seems a little backwards, as the vibrations come from the smaller end, which doesn't make sense. Overall, the vibrations are incredibly weak as well. It doesn't make too much noise and is waterproof. It's simple and easy to use, but it's lacking in the performance department. If other vibes are too strong even on low then this one might work, but it's not a good bet for those who like moderate (for a bullet) power.

Use

Bubblies The Pop is a cute little bullet-type vibrator. It's small enough to easily maneuver in different positions while with a partner, to use in conjunction with other toys, to travel with, and store easily. It is also waterproof so it can be used in the shower or bath. The design of it makes it great for clitoral stimulation, but it's not very suitable for insertion because it's rather small, and the ball at the end is a bit bulky. It can be used to stimulate other erogenous zones as well.

When looking at the vibrator, it would seem like the vibrations would come from the ball end of it, but they actually come from the shaft section. The jury is out on how suitable it is for anal play because the ball and the shaft screw apart for battery insertion, and it could potentially come apart and get lost, but the ball end is a pretty suitable flared base. If you use it for anal stimulation, just consider the potential risks.

This would be a great toy for anyone who enjoys lighter vibrations, as the power level is relatively low. Beginners will appreciate how versatile, simple, and discreet it is. Those looking for a first-time toy may want to consider something with a bit more variation and power, however.

Material / Texture

The Bubblies has the classic Evolved texture of a silky, satiny finish. It's very velvety, meaning that it can get pretty slippery with lube, but it does have a bit of grab to the material if you need it. Personally, I appreciate the grab because clitoral stimulation and lube don't mix well for me. This texture is something anyone can appreciate, and a great feature of the plastic toys by Evolved Novelties.

The entire vibrator is made of ABS Plastic, meaning that it can be used with water-based and silicone lubes. Plastic is generally non-porous ans doesn't tend to harbor bacteria like lower-end materials do. Plastic also makes it easy to clean, is durable, and gives it a nice firm feel. Of course plastic never really has much of a scent, either.
    • No odor
    • Not porous at all
    • Rigid

Design / Shape / Size

When I first saw this one, I really expected the vibrations to come from the bigger end of it. It makes sense, right? And the smaller end would be the part that contained the battery? Seems logical to me, but that wasn't the case. The battery sits in the bigger end, and the vibrations come from the smaller one. I've wondered why they made it that way. On the other hand, the big ball at the end makes maneuvering the vibrations on the smaller end a lot easier than traditional straight vibrators. The ball can be gripped in the hand much easier when the hands are slippery, or rolled through the fingers for easy movement.

The size is great for anyone who wants something easy to hide or carry with them. It's only 3 1/2" long, so it's not bulky in any way, and is pretty discreet in design. I mean, it could be some sort of lipstick.

Functions / Performance / Controls

Twisting the ball end will turn the vibe on and controls the speeds. It goes from "is it even on?" to "that's all?" which is disappointing, but it is incredibly quiet so it's a trade-off. You don't get any other functions other than steady vibrations. It's simple, and there's not much to it, power, noise, and all.

It does have a nice O-ring in the battery compartment that keeps it waterproof. Just make sure that the O-ring stays put, and you don't twist it too much during use so that it becomes loose. It takes one AAA battery, and the battery compartment is incredibly easy to navigate.

Care and Maintenance

Cleaning is simple. It can be washed with antibacterial soap and water, toy wipes, or toy cleaner. There's not much maintenance with it at all. Removing the batteries in between uses will help to prolong the life of them and the toy itself. Storage is pretty much up to the user. It doesn't collect lint or dust, it's not sticky, and it doesn't generally react to other materials, so it's safe to store just about anywhere. It's compatible with all types of lube. Toy maintenance made simple, here. The only possible issue might be making sure that the little crevices by the battery compartment are cleaned out, but they don't pose too much of a problem.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

Personal comments

I really like things by Evolved, but this one was a miss. If they switched things around to the more logical way of functioning with a bigger motor in the top instead of in the smaller part it might be a little more worthwhile, but as it is now the vibrations are just too weak to do much. There are cheaper bullets out there that have double the power that this does and seem to be worth the money, unlike this one.
Follow-up commentary
I wish I could say I'd found a use for this, but I haven't. It just doesn't do anything. I like some vibrations you can actually feel. This was not that. It would be cute for an overly sensitive beginner, but mine found a much better home than in my hands.

Thanks for the review. I agree the motor should have been in the lollipop. I mean, what's the point if it isn't?
