Zini Hua Review

Are you a beginner looking for a fantastic vibrator that will work wonders? Check out the Hua! It's got pulsation settings that will get you there, and a random mode to keep you on your toes. Hua is going to cost you a chunk of money, but it is worth it, and way better than some of those $20 vibrators. Hua is a perfect rabbit style vibrator for beginners.

Use

The Zini Hua is best used for vaginal stimulation. The Hua is a rabbit style vibrator that stimulates the g-spot and clitoris in unison. Hua can be used for solo masturbation, or to spice things up with a partner. It can be used anally if you wish. Due to the strength of the vibrations, and the size of the vibrator, I would recommend this toy to beginners. I wouldn't stop there though. It's got fifteen different settings that can please more advanced users. Depending on the user, you may have to spend a decent amount of time with this vibrator, as the vibrations may not be strong enough to get some off quickly. This is said to be a waterproof toy, so if you are into taking your toys into the shower/bath this may be a good one. It is quiet enough to use with a fan on, music playing in the background, or even under a blanket. So if you've got living situations where you have to sneak around, Hua may be a good choice for you.

Material / Texture

The Hua consists of a plastic handle, a luxurious, smooth feeling silicone shaft, and clitoral stimulator. The silicone drops down into the back of the handle, and where the charge port is. You should only use water based lubricants with this toy, and other silicone toys. The shaft of the Hua has ridges around it, making it look like a blooming flower. If you are sensitive to textures, this might not be a good pick for you. The shaft is also very hard, and is not flexible at all. Whereas the clitoral stimulator has a little bit of a give to it, it can easily hit different body types. The Hua has a low odor that you can only smell if you put the toy right up to your nose.

Design / Shape / Size

Hua looks like a blooming flower(the shaft), with a leaf(the clitoral stimulator) to the side. It has a very likeable design. I really enjoy the rabbit style of this vibrator. I've had one other rabbit-like toy, and the Hua blows it out of the water. The Hua is curved for g-spot stimulation, and with it having only an approximate 3" insertable length, it works perfectly for those with a shallow g-spot. If you don't need a lot of girth to please you, this will work for you. The shaft has about 1" of a width, as well as the clitoral stimulator. The toy is about 8 1/2" in complete length. Personally, I was expecting this vibrator to be a little bit bigger in size, but I'm not complaining. The size alone I'd recommend to beginners. Zini provides you with a drawstring bag to store your vibrator in, which easily hides the Hua. The Hua isn't huge, and would be easy to throw the charger and the toy itself into the drawstring bag, and throw it in your purse for travel. Zini products also have a locking feature, so fear no more of embarrassing vibrations that are annoying to explain.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The Zini Hua is a rather advanced toy. For starters, it is rechargeable! Say goodbye to buying expensive batteries all the time! Zini recommends that you charge the vibrator prior to use. The control box on the toy is very user friendly. It has a "-" button, a "+" button, and an "O" button. As guessed, the "-" is to decrease speed, and the "+" is the increase speed. There are 5 different speed settings; low, medium, medium-high, high, and turbo. On the first four speeds, only the shaft motor is running. Then the fifth setting turns on the second motor, which is under the control box that is supposed to add extra power to the clitoral stimulator. When using the first four settings, it is very quiet, but the turbo speed makes it a little louder. It's nothing a blanket, fan, or music cannot fix. Depending on how you hold the toy, the "+" button might be pressed when you aren't meaning to press it, which can get annoying when you've got a rhythm going on.

To turn on the toy, simply press the "+" button. You can cycle through the different speeds by continuously pressing the "+" button, or if you'd like, you can hold down the "+" button for two seconds and it will turn on, then go into turbo mode. I found to automatically turn it onto turbo mode directly, you can hold the "O" button and "+" button down for two seconds at the same time, and it will skip the low setting. To turn the speed down, click the "-" button until you get to the desired speed. And to turn it off, hold the "-" button down for two seconds.

Now for the fun part; what the "O" button is really for. It's got to do more than just be a quick start for the turbo mode, right? Simply clicking on the "+" button, then clicking the "O" button will turn on the pulsation mode. There are fifteen different settings in pulsation mode. There is slow, fast, long, short, etc settings. There is a setting for each mood. For each setting, there is a color it coordinates with. No more having to remember a number, just remember your favorite color. Surprisingly, my favorite setting really is my favorite color, purple. To cycle through the different pulsation settings, you can press the "+" or the "-" button. If you get to moving too quickly when you are using the "+" button, just press the "-" button to get back to the setting you wanted, as well as the other way around. At any point while in use, if you want to let the toy be in total control, hold down the "O" button, and the vibrator will go into random pulsation mode. It will automatically cycle through the settings at random! Just lay back and enjoy the light show.

At anytime, if you want to turn off the lighting during pulsation mode, just hold down the "+" for two seconds; the lights turn off. To turn them back on, hold the "+" sign down again for another two seconds. As said before, there is a locking feature on the vibrator. Simply hold down the "-" button, and then the "+" button together. You will see a red light flash, and you can release. It is now locked; no worries about it randomly turning on. To unlock, simply do that same; hold down the "-" button and the "+" button together until you see a green light flash. This feature only works while the toy is not in use.

Another random feature when the toy is off is that you can hold down the "-" button and the "O" button for two seconds. This will display all the colors. This really is no benefit to you, and is probably used for adult stores when put on display.

The light screen helps out when charging is happening. When on the charger, it will display a color for the percentage of battery it is at. When the light is blue, charging is complete. Otherwise, it will be green when the battery has a 95% or more charge, light green from 70%-95%, yellow from 50%-70%, orange from 10%-50% and red from 0%-10%. Zini will notify you of a dead battery by blinking red ten times in a row, then it will turn off.

The vibrations are strong enough for me, but may not be for others or advanced users.

This toy is said to be waterproof, but I have yet to test that one out. I would like to activate the warranty first, before I take it into the shower. In their manual, it says it has a 1 year warranty and to go to their website to activate, but I haven't found it yet. If possible, I'll talk about it during my follow-up review.

Care and Maintenance

I recommend cleaning the Hua with either a damp wash cloth and mild soap, or with toy cleansing wipes. I recommend that you do not wait to clean up, especially if you didn't use lube. The first time I used it, all my lovely juices dried up on the toy rather quickly and left this silvery look to it. It kind of grossed me out. It takes about a minute to clean up for me, but I'm one of those excessive people who doesn't stop until it looks perfect. But then again, who wouldn't be excessive about a sex toy when it comes to cleaning? The Hua is very easy to take care of. Just remember to only use water based lubricant to keep the luxurious silicone luxurious. I keep the charger and the vibrator both in the drawstring bag, which was provided by the manufacturer.

Packaging

The vibrator came in a box about the size of a small shoe box. The lid had a magnetic closure, which is strong and holds up well. The box is first held together with a little cardboard lining, so to speak, around it. When you open it for the first time, you'll notice a piece of tape on the cardboard and the toys box. Which is a good indicator to whether the toy has been tampered with or not. When you open it, the toy is held in by a cardboard cutout with a plastic piece over the toy, clearly displaying the Hua. It has a little ribbon you pull to grab the toy. Under the cardboard, you'll have the manual on the lighting, a user manual, the drawstring bag, and the charger. I currently use the box for storage for the Hua, a bottle of lube, cleaning wipes, an anal plug, and another small toy.

The charger actually has changeable adapters, so you can use the same charger in different countries and just change out the adapter.

Personal comments

I am in love with this toy! I personally had to initially charge the vibrator for 2 hours. When I took it out of the package, it was not charged. Some of the settings on the pulsation mode have repeating coordinating colors, but the colors blink to the vibrations.

Experience

I have yet to have to recharge the Hua, so I can say that I am rather pleased with the battery life so far. I've spent a pretty decent amount of time with it for the 4 times that I have used it. As well as random playing with it just because I love it. (That and playing with it while writing this review). I personally do get a little bit frustrated when I'm in a rush to get off, and have to do a little bit of manual work to get me there. However, the other times I have not had a problem with this actually getting me to that point. This is a toy you have to be patient with.
Follow-up commentary
I thought that I would really like this toy, and that I would use it all the time. That isn't so much the case. I use this like once a month, if that. The toy itself just isn't big enough to do the trick. the vibrations are pretty awesome, but it just isn't girthy enough for me, and not really long enough.
