Wet is one of my favorite brands of lubricant, and this is the perfect way to try out their Original lubricant while getting a bonus latex condom at the same time. It's only 75 cents a pop, so you'll definitely want more than one to have around just in case.
Discreet, all-inclusive, for sensitive skin, unscented, one size fits all.
Best use: The Wet Safe Sex Kit is perfect for on-the-go needs. I like to slip one in my bag when going on vacation; it's perfect for using at home, too. The kit includes a lubricated latex condom and a sample of Wet Original personal lubricant. Wet lubricant is the best, and is available on Eden in many different forms, like Synergy and Together. While they all rock, Original is by far the best. It feels very silky and smooth. It's perfect for sensitive skin and is unscented. It's not warming lube, which is good news for all those who are tired of fearing friction during sex. The condom and lube come in a perfect little discreet cardboard envelope, which is so small that it fits right in your back pocket. At $0.75, you'll want to buy a whole bunch to keep around.
While you should definitely use more than one method, condoms are a great way to go as far as safe sex. If you stock up on these kits, you should be good to go in the safety department. Just remember that while condoms are a great way of reducing the risk of contracting an STD or STI, they are only 98% effective at preventing pregnancy on their own, so have a backup method just in case.
Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity:
The Original lube which is included is on the thinner side, which is preferable when choosing lubricants. It glides on and stays where you put it. The sample has just enough included for one use, whether going solo or with a partner. It works perfectly for any occasion and is great for those with sensitive skin or certain needs when it comes to products. It's silky, unscented and just right.
Taste / Aroma:
The Original lube is not one that is meant for tasting, and neither is the lubricant on the condom. I didn't try either, but I wouldn't recommend these for oral sex since that isn't the intended purpose.
Both of the items included are one use only, but the latex condom included is pretty hefty. I've used a kit 4 different times, and none of those times did the condom break or tear. It's one-size-fits-all, as most latex condoms are, and should fit just about any size and girth. It rolls on easily due to the lubrication, and if it isn't going on easily, the Wet lube should help. I always apply some of the lubricant to my man before putting on the condom, just to make it more comfortable for him and easier to put on. Then you can use the rest of the lube after putting it on!
The lube and condom are each packaged individually, but are both fitted inside the cardboard envelope, which is pretty small and discreet. I usually keep one tucked in the side pocket of my purse.
I love this set, and will probably continue to use one many times in the future. I definitely recommend it for beginners who haven't used many different lubes before, or who are considering condoms as a birth control method (but not the ONLY method!). I would also recommend it for everyone else, too. Even if you just have one in the back of your dresser drawer for those times when you run out of Trojans, it's perfect for any time.
